What Changes Came Alongside Faelights?

Faelights do not operate in isolation. Patch 26.01 paired them with several supporting vision changes that you need to know.

Trinket Adjustments

• Stealth Ward Trinket cooldown: Reduced from 210-120 seconds (by level) down to 170-90 seconds (by level). Non-supports can now access vision more frequently to make plays.
• Oracle Lens duration: Extended from 6 seconds to 8 seconds, making it easier to clear detected Faelight superwards and sweep enemy vision.

Scryer's Bloom Expansion

Additional Scryer's Bloom locations were added to the map, and their respawn times were significantly shortened. At 15:00 (or after the Elemental Rift transformation), new Scryer's Bloom locations activate:

• One at each river coast near side lanes (2 total)
• One behind each side lane inner turret (4 total)
• One near the rocks in base where Hexgates spawn (4 total)

The default respawn time for these new locations is 90-120 seconds (random), compared to the base map's 200-260 seconds (random). This dramatically increases your ability to both gather vision and clear enemy wards in the mid-to-late game.

How Should You Use Faelights Strategically?

Early Game (Lanes Phase)

The island brush Faelights near top and bot are the most accessible early. Dropping your first ward trinket on one of these gives you river vision that helps you spot incoming ganks and track the enemy jungler's pathing. The bonus lasts 45 seconds, which is enough time to trade, back, or set up a dive.

The banana brush Faelights near mid are excellent for mid laners who want to track river movement without burning a Control Ward. Since the bonus region hugs the mid lane brush without overlapping it, you get river information while keeping your ward count efficient.

Mid Game (Post-Transformation)

Once the Elemental Rift transformation triggers, the four side-lane Faelights become available. This is when Faelights shift from a nice-to-have into a core strategic tool. Marksmen in the bot lane should use the island brush Faelight early to protect against level 2 dives and early jungler pressure, since the bonus river vision covers the most dangerous approach angles during the first few minutes.
