Mistfall Hunter has multiple maps to run, but Hallowgrove stands out as the most accessible and consistently rewarding. It opens to all players from day one, scales well for solo runs, and packs enough points of interest to fill a full loot circuit without overextending. Once you know which spots to hit and which to skip, every run turns profitable fast.
What makes Hallowgrove worth running?
Hallowgrove is the only map in Mistfall Hunter that comes unlocked by default. You can drop in solo or bring up to two teammates, and the Normal difficulty has no minimum gear requirement. That makes it the go-to map for early progression and for players who want to run efficiently without the pressure of a gear check.
Two difficulty modes are available: Normal and Chaos. Normal is approachable and forgiving. Chaos layers on additional modifiers and significantly higher difficulty, so it is not the place to start experimenting with new routes. Stick to Normal until you have a reliable loot circuit down.
Here is a quick breakdown of what Hallowgrove offers compared to a more demanding map:

Hallowgrove key loot locations
What are the best loot spots in Hallowgrove?
Five POIs are worth targeting on every run. Your priority order will depend on spawn location, but these are the spots that consistently deliver the best returns.
Supreme Hall
Supreme Hall is the highest-value stop on the map. It has a boss encounter, and taking that boss down rewards strong loot on top of whatever else you find in the area. If you are running with teammates, this is the spot to coordinate around. Solo players can clear it too, but read the room before committing.

Einherjar Ship Grave
Einherjar Ship Grave contains a locked area and locked chests. To access the best loot here, you need the corresponding key. You can buy it directly from the shop before a run or find it as random loot during the match. Either way, coming in without the key means leaving value on the table.
For a full breakdown of where to get that key and what to expect inside, check out the Einherjar Ship Grave key location guide.
Frostwind Path and Pioneer Gates
Both Frostwind Path and Pioneer Gates offer solid loot. The practical advice here is to pick whichever one sits closer to Supreme Hall and Einherjar Ship Grave based on your spawn. Routing through all three in a single sweep is efficient; backtracking across the map to hit both Frostwind Path and Pioneer Gates separately is not worth the time.

How should you plan your route?
The right side of the map relative to Divine Anchor is where most of the high-value POIs sit. Exploration tasks also tend to point you toward POIs on that side more often, so routing right gives you loot and quest progress in the same sweep.
Some areas have locked sections that require specific keys. You can purchase the relevant key from the shop before loading in, or you might find one as incidental loot during the run. Planning ahead and buying the key when you know you are targeting a locked POI is the more reliable approach.
Quick POI priority reference
- Supreme Hall: Boss loot, high-value chests, top priority
- Einherjar Ship Grave: Locked area, locked chests, requires key
- Frostwind Path or Pioneer Gates: Good secondary loot, pick the closer one
The remaining POIs on the map are worth grabbing if you pass through them naturally, but they should not pull you off the main circuit. Time spent backtracking is time spent not extracting.
