New Web3 Fantasy RPG
Swedish game developer Antler Interactive has revealed its latest venture into the world of web3 gaming with the announcement of Cloudborn, a fantasy RPG set to captivate audiences. The unveiling coincides with the annual Game Developers Conference (GDC) where the studio will debut an early demo of the game.
Drawing upon the success of their debut title, My Neighbor Alice, Antler Interactive aims to immerse players into a sprawling, open-world experience filled with adventure and challenges. Unlike the serene landscapes of Lummelunda, the setting of Cloudborn is a sea of floating islands teeming with peril and excitement.
Players will navigate these skies in personalized airships, encountering a diverse cast of characters and engaging in strategic turn-based battles along the way. One of the standout features of Cloudborn is the dynamic environment of Miyanu.
Similar to My Neighbor Alice, the world of Cloudborn boasts diverse biomes, but with a unique twist – it evolves based on the actions of the players themselves. This community-driven approach extends to the game's roster of collectible heroes and characters, all powered by AI and tailored to interact uniquely with each player.
Incorporating Generative AI
Antler Interactive has also incorporated generative AI to enhance the game's interactive tutorials, ensuring a personalized learning experience that adapts to the player's pace. A playable demo of the game will be available at the Inworld AI booth today March 20th and at the Blockchain Game Alliance booth on March 22nd during the GDC conference in San Francisco.
