Apeiron, the real-time fantasy strategy game, has opened its $APRS token sale alongside the finale of its latest Beta phase. Players competing in the PvP Battle Arena can earn prizes while the community digs into both events.
Apeiron bills itself as the first NFT-based web3 God Game. The ecosystem token $APRS is launching exclusively on the Ronin Network, marking one of the first token sales on Ronin. Token sale details
The initial community round of the $APRS token sale kicked off yesterday, March 12th at 6 am UTC. It sold out in 24 hours.
The Primeval round starts March 14th at 10 am UTC. Because the first round moved so fast, the Apeiron team doubled the token allocation for Primeval from 9 million to 18 million tokens.
To participate, you need specific whitelist roles or ownership of NFT assets. The team took a snapshot last week. NFT assets must be on the Ronin network to count.
Token allocation and utility
Token allocation depends on your eligibility. Each lot costs $275 USDC. You can access the sale via the Ronin Launchpad after completing KYC, accessible here.
If you don't qualify for this sale, more opportunities are coming. This distribution is only a fraction of the planned token emission.
$APRS tokens work as the primary ecosystem currency in Apeiron. You'll use them for Celestial Conjunctions, Apostle minting, and NFT rentals. The team also plans to let players convert $APRS into in-game currency for battle passes and store items.
Battle Arena PvP
The PvP leaderboard contest runs until March 17th, 2024. Rewards include in-game tokens from daily battles and seasonal ranks.
Top players can win entries into an upcoming raffle for Planets or Elemental Cores, Apostle Ticket NFTs, Golden Apostle Ticket NFTs, and Mythic Cores for the top three.
Apeiron is free to play through the Epic Games launcher. The game includes a tutorial and gives players free Apostles to start with. Visit their website to jump in.
What is Apeiron?
Apeiron is a card-battling Roguelite mixed with a God Game. Players battle through a grid-based dungeon with their Apostles while wielding god-like powers.
The recent PvP release lets players challenge other gods for rewards and ranked ladder progression. It revives the classic god simulation genre from the early 2000s while adding modern roguelite design. Players grow planets, control giant Avatars in combat, collect dood NFTs, and more.
Apeiron's user count has climbed steadily since migrating to Ronin. The token launch serves two purposes: fuel the ecosystem's growth and let the community participate in governance at an early valuation. Introducing Apeiros ($APRS)
$APRS is the ecosystem token of Apeiron, issued by Foonie Magus, the game's developer. Token holders can participate in Apeiron's governance. The relationship between $APRS and Apeiron mirrors the one between $AXS and Axie Infinity.
You may have heard of Apeiron's $ANIMA token. $ANIMA is a gameplay token with infinite supply, different from $APRS which is an ecosystem token with fixed supply. The $ANIMA token launch is coming soon.

The $APRS sale happens in two rounds on the Ronin Launchpad powered by Impossible Finance: the Apeiron Community Round and the Ronin Community Round. Anyone who meets the KYC requirements can purchase $APRS using $USDC on Ronin.
Apeiron Community Round
The Apeiron Community Round runs March 12th through 15th. Apeiron NFT holders can purchase a total of 15M $APRS. The round splits into two: the OMEGA Round and the Primeval Round. Ronin Community Round
The Ronin Community Round starts March 15th. The Ronin community can buy 4M $APRS through a Standard Sale and an Unlimited Sale. Allocations depend on the amount of wRON staked into Ronin Launchpad and time staked from March 13th.
Note: The wRON you stake on Ronin Launchpad has nothing to do with RON you may have staked with a validator on Ronin. You need to stake fresh wRON on Ronin Launchpad to qualify for $APRS, regardless of any RON staked to a Ronin validator.

Stake wRON on Impossible Finance's Ronin Launchpad to see how many $APRS tokens you can purchase. Impossible Finance uses their StakeWeight Allocation Model, which factors in how many wRON tokens you stake and for how long. Read more here, and follow these steps to wrap your RON.
Step 1: Go to Mavis Market and select "Log In" to connect your Ronin wallet.
Step 2: Click "Swap RON/WRON" through the drop-down in the top right of your screen.
Step 3: Enter the amounts you want to swap and hit confirm.
APRS Purchase period
15th March 10:00 AM UTC to 17th March 4:00 AM UTC
You can purchase $APRS during this window based on your allocation from the StakeWeight Allocation Model. If you don't buy $APRS during this time, you forfeit your allocation.
APRS Claim period

The $APRS Standard Sale gets 2.4M tokens, with a 1000 wRON maximum stake. This allocation gives smaller RON holders a shot at more $APRS.
The Unlimited Sale gets 1.6M tokens. There's no cap on wRON staked here, so large RON holders can stake big amounts to compete and maximize their allocations.
Remember: 100% of $APRS tokens stay locked until $APRS lists on either the Katana DEX or another exchange.
What this means for Apeiron
Apeiron joined Ronin in December and has seen explosive growth since the migration. Their four NFT collections have done over 75K RON in volume, and monthly active users jumped from 50 to 24K in a few months. The $APRS token launch is another step in a journey that's just starting.
