Prime Day is done, but Best Buy is not letting the holiday weekend pass quietly. Its 4th of July Sale is live right now with some of the steepest TV discounts seen this year, and a handful of these are 2026 models that launched just months ago.
Here's the lowdown: six TVs stand out from the rest of the sale, covering everything from flagship OLED panels built for competitive gaming to budget picks that do the job without breaking anything.

The flagship pick: LG G6 OLED evo (65", 2026)
The 65" LG G6 Series OLED evo is the headliner. Released earlier this year, it has already dropped $600 to $2,799.99 (down from $3,399.99). That 18% cut on a brand-new flagship is not something you see often.
The G6 builds on what made the G5 one of the best high-end gaming TVs available, adding a brighter picture, a matte finish that handles off-angle glare better, and improved color accuracy. For gaming specifically, it ships with four HDMI 2.1 ports running 4K at 165Hz, VRR support, and a 0.1ms response time. If you are pairing this with a PS5 or Xbox Series X and want the absolute best, this is it. Pair it with optimized console settings for Black Ops 7 and the difference is immediately noticeable.
The best value OLED: Samsung S84F (55", 2026)
The 55" Samsung S84F OLED is down 46% to $699.99, cut from $1,299.99. That is a $600 drop on a 2026 OLED, which is the kind of deal that does not need much analysis.
The S84F uses a W-OLED panel rather than QD-OLED, but it still delivers deep blacks and solid contrast for a picture that looks genuinely great. With a 120Hz native refresh rate plus ALLM and VRR support, it handles fast-paced game sessions without breaking a sweat.
Art TV at half price: TCL A3G Designer Series (65", 2026)
Not every TV needs to be a gaming powerhouse. The 65" TCL A3G Designer Series QLED drops 46% to $649.99 and is aimed squarely at people who want their TV to look good when it is off as well as when it is on.
TCL's answer to Samsung's Frame TV features an off-white bezel, a removable lightwood frame, a slim body, and a curated art library. The actual display is no slouch either: a Quantum Dot LED panel with a 144Hz native refresh rate and VRR support means it pulls double duty as a solid gaming screen.
Budget room filler: Insignia F50 (50")
For a spare bedroom or a secondary setup, the 50" Insignia F50 LED 4K Smart Fire TV is down 47% to $159.99. That is a $140 cut on an already affordable set.
The F50 covers the basics well: 4K resolution, HDR support, a wide color gamut, and Fire TV built in for easy streaming access. What it does not cover is competitive gaming. The 60Hz refresh rate and absence of VRR support make it a poor fit for fast-paced titles, but for a secondary screen running movies and streaming apps, it is hard to argue with the price.
The console gaming sweet spot: Samsung S90F (55", 2025)
The 55" Samsung S90F OLED is a 2025 model sitting at $999.99, down 29% from $1,399.99. Sub-$1,000 for the S90F is a price point that previously only showed up during Prime Day.
The key here is the QD-OLED panel: per-pixel contrast, spectacular HDR highlights, and wide viewing angles that hold up across the room. The native 120Hz panel and HDMI 2.1 VRR support make it the go-to pick for console gaming. The only real knock against it is Samsung's bloated smart TV interface, which takes some getting used to.
Best MiniLED deal: Hisense U7 (65", 2026)
The 65" Hisense U7 MiniLED QLED 4K Smart Google TV hits its lowest price yet at $849.99, slashed 43% from $1,499.99. The 2026 model improves on its predecessor with a new matte coating and peaks at up to 3,000 nits of brightness.
That brightness number matters a lot in well-lit rooms where OLED panels can struggle. The U7 also runs a native 165Hz refresh rate with VRR headroom beyond that, so it handles motion in games extremely well for a MiniLED set at this price.
What this means for gamers is a clear set of options depending on budget. The S90F and LG G6 are the strongest picks for serious console setups, the S84F punches well above its new price point, and the Hisense U7 gives you a large, bright screen without committing to OLED pricing.
