Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 4 release date confirmed for June 4

Black Ops 7 and Warzone Season 4 has a confirmed release date: Thursday, June 4, 2026, across all platforms. The in-game Battle Pass counter currently reads 23 days remaining, which lines up exactly with that date. No guesswork needed.

When Season 4 goes live and how big the download will be

Activision is sticking to its usual rollout schedule. The patch goes live at 9am PT / 11am CT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST on June 4. Set your alarms, clear your queue, and make sure you have storage ready.

File sizes are estimated between 20 and 50 GB depending on platform, so the gap is wide enough that you'll want to check your specific console or PC setup before the day arrives. Clearing space ahead of time beats scrambling at launch.

File size estimates range from 20 to 50 GB depending on platform. Free up storage before June 4 to avoid a delayed start.

What's coming in the Season 4 content drop

The Battle Pass will carry 100-plus items, including new weapons, Operator skins, and camos. Weekly Challenges return alongside it, rewarding weapon attachments and XP for players grinding through the season.

Leaks (via DETONATEDcom on X) point to a new round-based Zombies map arriving mid-season, building on the Grief mode introduced in Season 3. For competitive players, that Zombies addition is worth watching closely given how much the mode has expanded this year.

Multiplayer is expected to get new 6v6 maps, fresh points of interest, and potential map remasters from Black Ops 4. Warzone players should note that Fortune's Keep is reportedly returning, which sets up aggressive Resurgence strategies for anyone who favored that map. Ranked tweaks are also on the table, though specifics haven't been confirmed officially.

Meta shifts will follow the usual pattern: Activision will buff and nerf weapons across the arsenal at season launch, meaning current loadout hierarchies are likely to shift. CDL teams will be watching recoil pattern changes closely, as new weapon metas have historically flipped competitive play within the first week of a new season.

What Season 3 Reloaded added before the handoff

Season 3 Reloaded launched on April 30, 2026, and packed in a solid amount of content to bridge the gap. Free Run hit Multiplayer as a parkour-focused playlist across Beacon, Plaza, and Gridlock. The Heat Wave Havoc event rewarded team play with perks tied to objective caps.

Zombies got Totenreich, a round-based map set in a Norwegian fishing village with Group 935 experiments, the Flammenfalle Trap, and a main quest tied to Legacy Weapons. Warzone ran Hot Pursuit on Avalon, a vehicle-based chase mode with grappling hooks and Resurgence rules. Prop Hunt Royale also returned to Rebirth Island.

That's a meaningful amount of content to finish out before Season 4 takes over. Players still working through the Season 3 Battle Pass have until June 4 to wrap up.
