Blizzard Entertainment has officially confirmed that an animated Diablo series is in development at Netflix, with the announcement dropping during the opening ceremony of BlizzCon 2026 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
Blizzard president Johanna Faries made the reveal in front of fans gathered for the two-day festival, which marks the first BlizzCon since Microsoft closed its $69 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard back in 2023.
