Blocklords, the PC strategy game by MetaKing Studios made its GameDrop debut in January 2024. The team has now kicked off the second round of its highly anticipated GameDrop initiative by airdropping 300,000 $LRDS tokens to its dedicated player base and NFT holders.
While the ERC20 $LRDS token has not yet been launched outside of the game environment, it holds significant utility within Blocklords. Players have the opportunity to stake $LRDS tokens to generate in-game currency known as Influence. This in-game currency can be utilized for various purposes, including the purchase of resources, bundles, and NFTs.
Airdrop Eligibility
The ongoing GameDrop features a total of 5 airdrop events throughout 2024, and the second one is currently live. Players eligible for this round of airdrop must own more than 5 NFTs and have successfully upgraded their Foreman House to level 8. Those meeting these criteria will share a collective pool of 250,000 $LRDS tokens.
Players not only receive $LRDS through airdrops but can also spend the tokens directly within the game. The initial conversion rate for spending $LRDS to acquire Influence stands at 10 $LRDS to 1,000 Influence, providing a straightforward method for players to enhance their in-game experience.
The Blocklords team emphasized their aim of building a robust in-game ecosystem in the long term. As of now, $LRDS tokens cannot be acquired through traditional exchanges, reinforcing the commitment to fostering an environment where players are actively engaged in the game.
