Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Servers to Shut Down

Activision has confirmed that Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile will officially go offline on April 17, 2026, ending the game’s service after struggling to meet expectations since its launch. Until the closure date, players will still be able to access the game and enjoy its existing content, but once the servers are shut down, all online features will become unavailable.

In a statement, Activision expressed appreciation for the community that supported Warzone Mobile and highlighted that player feedback will continue to influence future developments across the wider Call of Duty franchise. The company also noted that lessons learned from Warzone Mobile will inform updates and seasonal content for Call of Duty: Mobile.

Impact on Player Accounts and In-Game Currency

Players with remaining COD Points are advised to redeem them in-game before the April 17 shutdown. After this date, any unused points will be permanently inaccessible. Guest accounts will no longer be active once the servers close, while accounts linked to Activision will remain usable across other games and platforms under the company.

Previously purchased content will still be available in Warzone Mobile until the shutdown. Activision has confirmed that refunds for purchased content or unused COD Points will not be provided.

Store Delisting and Purchase Restrictions

Warzone Mobile was removed from both the Google Play Store and the Apple App Store in May 2025, with real-money purchases disabled shortly after on May 19. While the game will remain playable until the servers go offline, new players can no longer download or install it from official app stores.

Future of Call of Duty on Mobile Platforms

While Warzone Mobile will soon be retired, Activision has indicated that insights gained from the game will guide ongoing improvements and updates for Call of Duty: Mobile, ensuring the franchise continues to evolve with community input. Players are encouraged to make use of remaining COD Points and enjoy in-game content before the service ends.
