Nexus Interactive has announced the upcoming launch of its free-to-play strategy game, Everdawn Champions, on the Epic Games Store. Set to enter open beta on September 25, the tactical trading card game is now available for wishlisting on the platform, marking an important milestone for the title and its growing community.

What is Everdawn Champions?
Everdawn Champions is a strategy game built around blockchain technology, giving players full ownership of in-game assets like cards and character skins. Players can trade, sell, or hold onto these items across Nexus's broader ecosystem, with more control over their virtual inventory than traditional card games allow.
Developed by Nexus Play, Nexus Interactive's in-house studio, the game runs on Unity 3D and combines visually detailed 3D environments with fast-paced tactical card battles. The game has already attracted over 100,000 players, with its mix of competitive strategy and player-owned assets offering a different take on the card battler formula.
Before the open beta, Everdawn Champions went through extensive closed testing. Nexus Interactive reports that between this game and its other title, Questing Realms, players logged 1 million matches during the closed beta phase. That level of activity points to solid interest ahead of the wider release.
