Forge, the web3 gaming hub, has marked a notable milestone by surpassing 200,000 users within its first month of operation. Launched in beta in October, the platform's growth coincides with the announcement of an $11 million seed round, reflecting its appeal in the rapidly evolving gaming landscape. The funding round was led by notable investors, including Makers Fund, Bitkraft Ventures, and Animoca Brands, with participation from Hashkey Capital, Polygon Ventures, Formless Capital, and Adaverse. Forge retains support from its existing investors, carried over from its predecessor, GGWP, which includes Griffin Gaming Partners, Riot Games, and Sony Innovation Fund.

One of Forge's distinctive features is its emphasis on rewarding user engagement through a quest-based system. Players participate in over 2 million quests across the nine web3 games currently featured on the platform, including Genopets, Mojo Melee, Pixelmon, Portal Fantasy, Rushdown Revolt, The Sandbox, and Blocklords.

Operating in 182 countries, Forge positions itself as a global gaming hub, encouraging users to link their online gaming and social accounts. This integration enables players to create comprehensive profiles that reflect their diverse gaming experiences and preferences. Forge has introduced Season Passes, directly linked to user accounts, providing opportunities to earn XP, level up, and unlock in-game content. This approach is designed to recognize and incentivize players' contributions to the gaming community, fostering a sense of accomplishment and engagement.

Looking ahead, Forge has outlined plans for expansion as it approaches the conclusion of its inaugural season in January 2024. The platform aims to onboard over a dozen new partner titles, further diversifying the gaming experience for its growing user base.

Forge's rapid growth, combined with its unique reward system and commitment to global connectivity, positions it as a significant player in the web3 gaming landscape. As the platform continues to expand and engage users, Forge emerges as a notable hub within the ever-evolving realm of online gaming.
