The Kortz Center Heist is live in Grand Theft Auto V as of July 14, 2026, and Rockstar didn't just drop a new heist. The update brings six new vehicles into the game, ranging from a high-end Italian supercar to an armored off-roader you earn by grinding through the heist's toughest challenges.

The six vehicles arriving with the update
Here's the full lineup rolling into Los Santos with this update:
The Benefactor LRC GT sits at the top of the Super class and is currently sitting on the podium, so you can spin for it before spending a cent. The Grotti Cartuccia GT rounds out the sports category with a look that fits the heist's upscale art-world theme. The Albany Merula is a new sedan that leans into a retro aesthetic, while the Ocelot E-Stride is an electric SUV for players who want something different in the garage.
The Benefactor Läufer van is the practical pick here, designed for moving crews without drawing too much attention. And the Grotti Veleno GT, the second Super in this drop, is currently exclusive to GTA+ subscribers for one week and is free to claim at The Vinewood Car Club with its special Attack livery already applied.
The armored unlock you have to earn
Beyond what you can buy or spin for, there's a seventh vehicle tied directly to heist performance. Completing all of The Kortz Center Heist's Tier 4 Career Progress challenges on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, or PC (Enhanced) unlocks the Vapid Caracara (Armored), a heavy off-road truck fitted with a front wedge for clearing traffic. This one isn't purchasable. You earn it or you don't.
The Caracara is a meaningful reward for players who put in the work on the heist proper. Tier 4 challenges typically require multiple clean runs with specific conditions met, so this isn't a casual weekend unlock.
How the heist connects to your getaway options
The Mansion Vehicle Workshop upgrade directly improves performance for certain getaway vehicles used in the heist finale, which means the cars you drive out of the Kortz Center aren't just cosmetic choices. Upgrading the workshop before your run gives those vehicles a stat boost during the escape, making your garage decisions matter in a way that goes beyond personal taste.
The weekly bonus structure also applies here. Your first Primary Target sold each week gets a bonus payout. After that, buyer fatigue kicks in and payouts drop. The key here is treating each week's first run as your priority attempt and using subsequent runs to practice approach strategies or grind secondary targets.
For players who want a deeper look at prep missions, approach options, and how to maximize the take, the Grand Theft Auto V guides section has you covered as community strategy builds up around the new heist. GTA Online is also free to play on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S through July 20 with no PS Plus or Game Pass Essential required, so new players can jump straight into the update without any barrier. Check out the broader gaming guides hub if you're looking for tips across the rest of your library while you wait for heist lobbies to fill.
