The token generation event (TGE) for Haunted Space’s native token, $GAGA, is scheduled for Thursday, May 29. The exact time of the TGE has not been announced, but the date has been confirmed. $GAGA will serve as the core token not only for the Haunted Space game but also for Galaxy Lab’s broader ecosystem, which includes artificial intelligence tools and other web3 gaming projects. The token will be used for various in-game transactions such as purchasing Haunted Bucks (H-Bucks), which can be spent on consumables, NFTs, and other digital items.
In addition to its transactional role, $GAGA will offer holders access to staking opportunities on Galaxy Lab’s platform. Running until May 28, the minigame is designed as a top-down sci-fi shooter where players aim to survive waves of enemies while achieving high scores. Inspired by titles like Vampire Survivors, the game allows users to choose from a variety of spaceships, each with different attributes, and select one of two available levels.
As players progress, they can collect coins and unlock upgrades by leveling up. These upgrades include additional weapons, increased health, reduced weapon cooldowns, and other gameplay enhancements. Players can also earn coins by completing social tasks such as inviting friends to play. These coins can be used to climb the leaderboard, where the top 1,000 players will be rewarded at the end of the event.
