What is Illuvium Beyond?
Illuvium Beyond is a customizable collectible card game that launched March 7, 2023. Players collect Illuvitars, hand-drawn avatars based on creatures from the Illuvium universe. Each avatar comes with unique artwork, swappable accessories, and multiple expressions. Players obtain Illuvitars by opening D1SKs, which come in two varieties:
- Standard D1SK: Contains one Illuvitar, three accessories, and a bonus Tier 0 Illuvitar.
- Mega D1SK: Contains one rare Illuvitar, three accessories, and one standard Illuvitar.
Accessories attach permanently to Illuvitars across five slots: head, body, skin, props, and eyes. The customization system creates billions of possible combinations. Wave 3 adds several new features:
- 75 new Illuvitars with original designs and matching accessories.
- Expanded reward tracks that unlock emotes, skins, drone blasts, and battle boards.
- Redesigned D1SK opening animation that shows cards face-down with color-coded rarity hints.
- New power level and rarity color systems for easier identification.

- 100 Points: Beyond-exclusive Battleboard
- 300 Points: Opalite Ranger Skin
- 1,000 Points: Golden Gangster Rai Illuvitar (Rare Expression)
Community stretch goals trigger shared rewards as total D1SK openings increase, including the Lazer Eyes Emote Collection and an animated lore trailer. Wave 3 includes competitive leaderboards with token prizes for top performers. The top 250 players split a pool starting at 2,000 ILV tokens, which grows with every ETH spent.
