Memoria L1 Launches on Avalanche Mainnet

Memoria, an AI gaming and AI agent platform, has launched its own Layer 1 blockchain—Memoria L1—on the Avalanche mainnet. Developed with AvaCloud, this new chain now serves as the official network for the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem. The transition to a dedicated Layer 1 network is part of the platform’s broader initiative to deliver a more streamlined and integrated web3 gaming experience.

AvaCloud x Memoria

The Memoria L1 Chain went live on April 15, 2025, and has been designed to support all elements of the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem. Built on Avalanche and powered by AvaCloud infrastructure, the new chain enables more direct control over transactions and gameplay mechanics. With the mainnet launch, the team announced plans to transition all smart contracts to the new network. Following the end of the closed beta for the game Idle Chronicles, the entire gaming ecosystem will also move to Memoria L1. In addition, all future $ALBERT token airdrops will occur exclusively on the new chain.

Migration to Memoria L1 and $ALBERT

Migration to Memoria L1 is structured into two phases. The first phase, which began on April 16, focuses on key foundational changes. These include the activation of a token bridge for $ALBERT via AvaCloud, the airdrop of $ALBERT tokens through Memo-Tickets and Memo-Points, and the transfer of all eligible NFTs from Ethereum and AVAX C-Chain. As of now, two of these objectives have been completed. The airdrop of $ALBERT tokens was finalized on April 21, ensuring eligible users received their tokens in their wallets on the new chain. The NFT migration was completed the following day, with all Albert NFTs and Albert memory spores transferred on a 1:1 basis to the new network, retaining dynamic trait data.

Additionally, the staking feature for Albert NFTs has been temporarily paused but is expected to resume soon on Memoria L1. The new Memoria Artifact Collection will introduce updated NFT contracts, which include AL Memory Spores, Booster Items, Spores, and other in-game NFT assets. The $ALBERT token will now serve as the main currency on the Memoria L1 Chain, covering all transaction fees, marketplace trades, and in-game payments. A surprise airdrop for token holders has also been announced, although no official snapshot date has been shared yet.

Memoria Marketplace and Idle Chronicles

Once the first phase is complete, the project will enter Phase 2. Although a specific timeline for this phase has not been provided, the developers have confirmed several planned updates. These include the launch of the Memoria Marketplace, a new season of Idle Chronicles, the beta release of Blitz Chronicles, and a rework of the Daily Wheel feature.

The Memoria Marketplace is expected to facilitate the trading and purchasing of NFTs using the $ALBERT token. The new season of Idle Chronicles will be rolled out as an early access version on the Memoria L1 Chain, incorporating several gameplay and technical improvements. Blitz Chronicles is being positioned as a new gameplay mode, while the Daily Wheel will be enhanced to align with the chain’s rewards system.

Avalanche's Role in Hosting Blockchain Projects

The launch of Memoria L1 on Avalanche reflects a growing trend among web3 gaming projects to adopt Avalanche’s infrastructure. Memoria joins a list of other projects that have recently deployed Layer 1 chains on Avalanche, including Animalia and MapleStory Universe, both of which launched their respective chains earlier this month. Paradise Tycoon also opted for Avalanche for the launch of its $MOANI token earlier in the year, further highlighting the network's relevance within the web3 development space.

Memoria’s transition to a dedicated Layer 1 chain is a strategic move that aligns with its vision for a more unified and responsive gaming ecosystem. As the migration continues and upcoming features roll out, the Memoria & Albert Ecosystem is expected to offer users a more integrated and efficient platform within the growing web3 gaming landscape.
