The Nintendo Switch 2 already has one of the most loaded release schedules of any console launch window in recent memory, and the confirmed game list keeps growing.

Here's the lowdown: between now and the end of 2026, the Switch 2 is picking up everything from long-awaited Capcom originals to Bethesda classics and major JRPG ports. The breadth of what's confirmed is worth paying attention to.

What's already landed and what's coming this month

Pragmata, Capcom's sci-fi action title, released April 17 on Switch 2 alongside PS5, Xbox, and PC. That's the headline release for the platform right now. Also out this month: Goat Simulator 3 dropped April 1 as a Switch 2 exclusive among console launches, and Pokémon Champions hit Switch 1 and 2 on April 8.

Still to come before April wraps up, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition and Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition both land on Switch 2 on April 28. Two Bethesda classics on Nintendo hardware in the same day is not something anyone was predicting a few years ago.

May through June: the ports keep coming

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle arrives on Switch 2 on May 12, bringing MachineGames' well-received Xbox and PC title to Nintendo players for the first time. Yoshi and the Mysterious Book follows on May 21 as a Switch 2 exclusive, and LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight and Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn Edition both land May 22.

June brings what might be the most significant port of the year for JRPG fans. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth hits Switch 2 on June 3, giving Nintendo players access to the second chapter of Square Enix's FF7 remake trilogy. That's a substantial technical achievement for the hardware, and one that signals developers are taking the platform seriously as a destination for demanding titles.

Summer and fall: the heavy hitters

Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 2 is confirmed for Switch 2 on August 27, alongside PS5, Switch 1, Xbox, and PC. The first volume had a rocky PC launch, so it'll be worth watching how Vol. 2 performs technically across platforms.

September brings Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter to Switch 2 on September 17, part of Falcom's long-running RPG series. Destroy All Humans! 2: Reprobed also lands on Switch 2 that month, on September 15.

Disney Epic Mickey: Rebrushed rounds out October with a Switch 2 release on October 6.

The TBA list is just as interesting

Beyond confirmed dates, the Switch 2 has a significant number of titles with loose windows. Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave, The Duskbloods, Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, Borderlands 4, Splatoon Raiders, and Valheim are all confirmed for the platform without specific release dates yet. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is also listed for Switch 2 in 2026, which would put two major Bethesda RPGs on the hardware within the same calendar year.

What most players miss in lists like this is the sheer range. The Switch 2 isn't just getting Nintendo exclusives and indie ports. It's pulling in FromSoftware's back catalog, Bethesda's library, major JRPG releases, and day-and-date multiplatform titles. That's a different proposition than the original Switch at the same stage.

The Switch 2 schedule is still filling in, and several of those TBA slots could move to confirmed dates before summer. Keep an eye on Nintendo Directs, the next of which could lock in several of those floating 2026 windows.
