Open Loot Launches VIP Program

Open Loot (OL), a web3 gaming platform recognized for its integrated marketplace, has launched a new VIP Program aimed at rewarding active members of its community. The program combines activity within the marketplace, participation in in-game events, and $OL token holdings to assign users to specific tiers. Depending on their level, participants gain access to a variety of benefits including reduced marketplace fees, exclusive airdrops, and priority access to digital assets.

How the Tiered System Works

The VIP Program functions on a 30-day cycle and evaluates two main metrics. The first is the 30-day activity score, which is calculated from actions such as buying, selling, and renting on the marketplace as well as engagement in designated in-game events. The second is the 30-day average $OL balance, which measures the average number of tokens held in a user’s account during the same period. A participant’s final tier is determined by the lower of the two scores, and rankings are recalculated daily, allowing for continuous movement between levels.

The program introduces a range of ranks beginning with Common and progressing through Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic. Additional tiers, such as Exalted, Exotic, Transcendent, and Unique, have been marked as still to be discovered. The higher the tier, the greater the benefits, with marketplace fee discounts starting at 0.60 percent and reaching as high as 2.50 percent. The Unique tier requires a particularly high threshold, including an activity score of 10 million points.

Benefits Available to VIP Members

The program has been designed to provide tangible benefits rather than only symbolic rank progression. Members receive discounts on marketplace transactions, with the highest tier offering a reduction of up to 2.5 percent. They also gain access to exclusive airdrops, which distribute limited NFTs and tokens reserved specifically for VIPs. Early access to digital content, including game-ready packs and premium NFTs, is another feature of the initiative. Additional benefits extend to enhanced in-game participation rewards and priority customer support channels, particularly for members who reach higher levels.

Role of OLRP and Airdrops

A central component of the VIP Program is the use of Open Loot Reward Points (OLRP), which are distributed through recurring airdrops. These points can be converted into $OL, used to unlock various perks, or applied to increase a member’s VIP standing. To date, Open Loot has carried out several large-scale airdrops. The Open Loot VIP Airdrop distributed 562 million OLRP, the $BigTime VIP Airdrop allocated 406 million OLRP, the Vault Breaker Airdrop released 219 million OLRP, and the Big Time Player Airdrop delivered 101 million OLRP. Collectively, the platform has distributed more than 2.28 billion OLRP, which is equivalent to over 22.8 million $OL.

Partner Airdrop Collaborations

In addition to internal rewards, Open Loot has been collaborating with external studios and publishers to provide partner airdrops. These campaigns feature tokens and NFTs that align with the platform’s ecosystem partners. A recent example is the $SHARDS Proxy Airdrop, created in partnership with WorldShards and LowKick Games, which distributed more than two million $SHARDS to participants.

Significance of the VIP Program

The Open Loot VIP Program reflects an approach that combines loyalty systems familiar to gaming with broader platform incentives. By rewarding ongoing marketplace activity and in-game engagement, the program is structured to strengthen community ties and encourage long-term participation. The inclusion of fee reductions, exclusive content, and airdrop-driven rewards positions Open Loot within a growing segment of web3 platforms experimenting with tiered participation systems to maintain engagement among players and collectors. Community members can monitor their progress and current VIP tier through the official tracker.
