Parallel took home an impressive three awards during our prestigious GAM3 Awards, which took place on November 22nd. In addition, Colombian esports player Zeliaser, representing Yield Guild Games’ (YGG) esports team, secured the $20,000 grand prize in the Parallel Trading Card Game (TCG) tournament during the YGG Play Summit in Manila. This tournament featured a $100,000 prize pool and drew 16 of the world’s top players to compete live.

Zeliaser’s victory came after an intense final match against Hungarian competitor Bullbence. Though Bullbence defeated him in the upper bracket semifinals, forcing him into the losers bracket, Zeliaser fought back with two hard-earned victories to secure his place in the finals. He dominated the rematch against Bullbence with a decisive 2-0 win, showcasing his skill and resilience.
In a post-tournament statement, Zeliaser expressed gratitude to the Parallel community, noting the support and camaraderie he experienced throughout the event. “Everyone was so friendly. I just had so much fun meeting everyone,” he said.

Zeliaser’s victory in Manila could be a stepping stone to even larger achievements. He has set his sights on qualifying for the Parallel Prime Championship, a $500,000 tournament series culminating in the finals at the HyperX Arena in Las Vegas in March 2025. To secure his spot, Zeliaser aims to rank among the top eight players on the game’s leaderboard.
