The Phasmophobia x Alan Wake crossover event is live, and beyond the new outfits and cosmetics, there are 4 hidden Charms scattered across the event's special maps. These aren't just decoration either. Collect them and they'll show up on your character's shirt as wearable cosmetics. Miss them, and they're gone when the event closes on June 2. Phasmophobia players who want the full set will want to move fast.

Each Charm is tied to one of the four Alan Wake event maps: Oh Deer Diner, Cauldron Lake, Coffee World, and Elderwood Palace Lodge. The Charms have multiple possible spawn points per map, so there's no single guaranteed spot. The most reliable approach is running a Custom Difficulty with Friendly Ghost turned on, which lets you safely restart and check alternate locations without triggering a hunt.

Where each Charm hides across the four maps

Here's the lowdown on every Charm location, map by map.

In Oh Deer Diner, the Thermos Charm spawns on the red seating of the third booth in the middle row. Head straight in from the entrance and you'll pass it on your way through the diner floor.

Cauldron Lake holds the Deer Mask Charm. Take the first left after entering, push through the doors into the kitchen, and check the top compartment of the fridge. It's one of the more tucked-away spots in the event.

Coffee World's Mr. Drippy Mascot Charm is probably the most memorable find. After walking through the entrance gates, head toward the wooden shack toilets just past the games tent. Check the first cubicle on the left. Mr. Drippy is sitting on the toilet bowl, waiting patiently.

The Elderwood Palace Lodge hides the Lunchbox Charm in its attic. Turn right immediately after entering to reach the stairs, follow the corridor left until you hit three doors, take the middle one, and pass through the bead door inside. The Lunchbox is under the right side of the bed.

What the Charms actually do

These aren't gameplay items. Charms are cosmetic collectibles that attach to your character's shirt, giving you another layer of personalization beyond the event's standard outfits and rewards. For collectors and completionists in the horror games space, grabbing all 4 before the June 2 cutoff is the obvious goal.

The event also includes other collectibles beyond Charms. There are hidden Dolls in Oh Deer Diner and Words of Power spread across all four maps that require a UV Light to reveal. If you want to track down every hidden item the event has to offer, the full secret Charm locations guide has exact spawn coordinates, and the Words of Power locations guide covers all 68 hidden phrases across the event maps.

With the event closing in under three weeks, now is the time to run through each map and lock in those rewards.
