The standout here is 1YEAR, which drops 1,400 Chrono Shards in one shot. That's by far the most generous single code in the game's history based on what's been distributed so far. FEATURED pairs TNT Blocks with an EXP hour, making it the practical pick for players who want to blow through rock and level up simultaneously. 30KLIKES gives the longest EXP window at 2 hours, which pairs well with a proper mining session.
These codes are case-sensitive. Copy them exactly as they appear in the table above or the redemption box will reject them.
How redemption works and what changed
Earlier in Subterra's life, codes were redeemed through a menu interface. The current system routes everything through a physical Codes NPC located on the surface, to the right of the bridge just behind the mines entrance. Walk into the NPC's radius and the redemption box appears automatically. Enter the code and hit Claim Code.
The surface-only restriction is worth knowing if you're mid-run. You'll need to come back up before any code works, so it makes sense to clear your active codes before descending rather than interrupting a session.

Looking at the expired list, patterns emerge. Codes tied to milestone events like 20KLIKES, 2MVISITS, and 3MVISITS each dropped 420x or 280x Chrono Shards. The current 1YEAR code at 1,400 Shards is significantly more valuable than any of those, suggesting Polyworks Studios is scaling up rewards as the game grows. The BETTERTOGETHER code previously bundled 280 Shards with 10,000 Gold and a 30-minute Double EXP, showing the developers do occasionally mix currency types into a single drop.
What most players miss is that expired codes pile up fast. The list already has over a dozen dead codes, and none of the active three have confirmed expiry dates. Redeeming all three now is the move.
