Treasure DAO, the web3 gaming organization behind the $MAGIC token, has released its latest roadmap outlining a strategic shift toward AI integration and autonomous agents. Posted on April 15 via the project's official X account, the roadmap details four core initiatives: an AI Agent Marketplace, Smolworld, Canopy, and new infrastructure for scaling AI-powered agents across the ecosystem.

Treasure DAO Introduces AI Agent Marketplace
Leadership transition at Treasure
The announcement follows a leadership change, with Karel Vuong stepping down from his role. Vuong shared his departure via social media, reflecting on his three-year tenure and citing differences in vision between himself and original founder John Patten. He noted that reducing the core team's size was necessary to keep Treasure agile heading into 2025, and confirmed he will remain involved as a strategic advisor.
John Patten has returned to lead the project. Patten founded Treasure and drove early milestones including the MAGIC token launch and Bridgeworld. The organization says it remains focused on building a connected gaming universe while adapting its approach for future web3 gaming opportunities.

Treasure DAO Introduces AI Agent Marketplace
Neurochimp framework and AI agents
Treasure's updated strategy centers on AI agents: autonomous digital characters built to interact across web3 platforms, including games, DeFi tools, and social media. These agents run on Neurochimp, a proprietary framework designed to give them persistent memory, personality traits, and contextual awareness. Unlike static NFTs, the agents evolve through user interaction and on-chain activity.
The agents will be tradable through a dedicated AI Agent Marketplace. Users can create, buy, and sell agents, with attributes like skills, memories, and reputation serving as differentiators. The marketplace supports use cases ranging from gameplay assistance to community engagement, with all transactions and upgrades powered by $MAGIC.

Smolworld Key Art
Smolworld and autonomous Smols
The roadmap introduces Smolworld, a simulation environment built on the Smolverse IP. Smolworld features AI agents called Smols that operate as independent digital entities. Treasure describes it as a "Tamagotchi for AI agents," where Smols make decisions, form relationships, and participate in on-chain activities without direct user control.
Each Smol is tied to a real crypto wallet and governed by encoded wills, allowing them to trade, explore, and grow within the environment. They communicate with users through text and voice. Production is underway, with a demo phase expected later this year.

Canopy adds strategic layer to Bridgeworld
Treasure has also announced Canopy, a new mode for Bridgeworld. Canopy introduces strategic gameplay focused on land control, alliances, and player-driven conflict. This shifts Bridgeworld toward higher-stakes interactions that affect resource distribution and global narrative developments.
Canopy builds on Bridgeworld's fantasy setting with persistent multiplayer dynamics. Players will coordinate campaigns, uncover secrets, and influence the game world through on-chain actions. Development is in progress, with additional details coming through the official Bridgeworld portal.

Treasure DAO Introduces AI Agent Marketplace
Marketplace built for functional assets
The AI Agent Marketplace emphasizes functionality over visual representation. Each agent is treated as a dynamic, evolving entity rather than a static collectible. The platform will also serve as a launchpad for creators and developers, supporting the deployment of new agent types and feature integrations.
The system is designed with composability in mind, allowing agents to be adapted and used across multiple applications within the Treasure ecosystem. The marketplace relies on $MAGIC for transactions, upgrades, and operational costs, reinforcing the token's role in the economic framework.
Final thoughts
Treasure DAO's roadmap expands its web3 ecosystem through AI agents, simulation-driven environments, and enhanced gameplay modes. By integrating autonomous digital characters and expanding existing IP, Treasure positions itself at the intersection of artificial intelligence and blockchain-based gaming. With $MAGIC at the core, the project aims to create a more interactive and functional experience for players and developers.
