If you watched Metaphor: ReFantazio disappear from Xbox Game Pass at the end of May and felt that particular sting of a great RPG leaving the library, here is some good news. Persona 5 Royal is stepping in to fill that exact void, and it is bringing eight other titles along with it for the first wave of June additions.

Game Pass June Wave 1 lineup
Xbox confirmed the full Wave 1 lineup today, covering arrivals from June 4 through June 16. Nine games total, a mix of Day One indie releases and established titles, spread across Cloud, Console, PC, and Handheld where applicable.

The full June Wave 1 lineup
Here is every title confirmed for the first half of June, along with platform availability and arrival dates:
Herdling and Total Chaos are listed as "Now with Game Pass Premium," meaning they were previously available on other tiers and are expanding coverage rather than arriving fresh.
What actually stands out here
Persona 5 Royal is the obvious headliner. The Atlus RPG is one of the most celebrated games of the last decade, and landing it on Game Pass Ultimate, Premium, and PC Game Pass means the widest possible subscriber base gets access. If you have never played it, clearing 100-plus hours from your schedule is probably the first order of business.
Beyond that, Beastro is the indie pick worth watching. The concept blends cozy life-sim energy with deckbuilding mechanics inside a puppet-themed adventure. You play as a cook teaming up with an injured god and a group of heroes, feeding them magical meals that directly shape their combat decks as they fight back against monsters. That is a genuinely unusual combination, and it lands as a Day One Game Pass title on June 11.
Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions arrives in Game Preview on the same day, giving subscribers early access to the System Era Softworks follow-up before its full release. Junkster also hits Day One on June 16, rounding out the indie slate.
Undisputed, the boxing game that has been building its player base since early access, joins the library on June 8 with Handheld support included.

Five games leaving before June 15
The other side of the equation matters too. Five titles exit the library when June 15 hits:
- Jurassic World Evolution 2 (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Lost in Random: The Eternal Die (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine Master Crafted Edition (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge (Cloud, Console, PC)
That last one will sting for a lot of players. TMNT: Shredder's Revenge has been a go-to couch co-op option since it launched, and Scott Pilgrim vs. The World has its own dedicated following. You have until June 14 to finish what you started.
What comes next for subscribers
The key here is that Wave 1 only covers the first half of the month. Xbox typically drops the Wave 2 announcement around the midpoint of June, which means another batch of additions is coming once the dust settles on these nine titles.
For players who want to stay ahead of what is worth playing across every new drop, our gaming guides have you covered on getting the most out of each arrival. And if you are trying to decide whether Persona 5 Royal or any of these titles deserves your time, our game reviews section is a good place to start before you commit those hours.
Watch the Xbox Wire for the Wave 2 reveal. If the first half of June is any indication, there is more to come before the month is out.
