Buddha is the standout farming fruit at this tier. Its Transform ability at Mastery 1 increases your hitbox for AOE attacks, making it the go-to pick for raid grinding and fast XP. Portal and Phoenix are both strong utility picks, with Portal offering unmatched mobility and Phoenix giving you passive healing during its transformation.

What are the three fruit types in Blox Fruits?
Every fruit belongs to one of three types. Rarity and type are separate classifications, so a Mythical fruit can be Natural, Elemental, or Beast.
- Natural (Paramecia): The most common type with 22 fruits. Natural fruits have varied combat styles and no built-in passive defense. Examples include Magnet, Control, and Gravity.
- Elemental (Logia): 11 fruits total. Elemental fruits come with a passive ability that lets you ignore physical hits from enemies who do not use Haki. Examples include Flame, Lightning, and Gas.
- Beast (Zoan): 9 fruits total. Beast fruits grant animal or creature-based transformations and are built around hybrid and full-beast forms. Examples include Dragon, Kitsune, and Tiger.

How does fruit Mastery work?
Mastery is a fruit-specific progression system that is completely separate from your character level. Every ability on a fruit unlocks at a specific Mastery threshold. You build Mastery by using that fruit in combat, so switching fruits constantly will slow down your ability unlocks on every fruit you own.
For example, Dragon's Heatwave Cannon unlocks at Mastery 1, but Imperial Evolution requires Mastery 350. Reaching those higher thresholds on expensive fruits takes real time investment, so pick a fruit you plan to stick with before grinding Mastery.
Some fruits also have awakenings and transformations that require steps beyond Mastery alone. Mastery is the baseline requirement, not the whole picture.
How to get fruits in Blox Fruits
There are four main methods for getting devil fruits, and each has a different risk-to-reward tradeoff.
Blox Fruit Dealer
The most reliable method. The Dealer sells fruits directly for Beli or Robux, with stock rotating every four hours. Five Dealer locations exist across the seas:
- Pirate Starter Island
- Marine Starter Island
- Middle Town
- Dressrosa Docks (Second Sea)
- Cafe (Second Sea)
Not every fruit appears in each rotation. If you need a specific fruit quickly, the permanent Robux purchase bypasses the stock system entirely.
Blox Fruit Dealer Gacha
The Dealer Cousin at the Cafe (Second Sea) and Jungle offers a random fruit for Beli. You cannot choose what you get, making this a gamble. It can pay off well if you are flexible about which fruit you want.
World spawns
Fruits spawn naturally across the Old World and New World, most commonly under trees. A global announcement appears on screen when a fruit spawns. Spawns happen roughly every hour and the fruit disappears after 20 minutes, so you need to move fast.
Factory Raid
The player who deals the most damage during a Factory Raid receives a devil fruit as a reward. High-damage fruits help here, which creates a bit of a catch-22 for newer players.
If you are just starting out and need a clear path through the early game, the Blox Fruits beginners guide covers stat builds and island progression to get you to the Second Sea faster.
What happened to Leopard, Rumble, and other old fruits?
Several fruits from older versions of the game have been renamed or removed. If you are following an older guide and the fruit name does not match anything in the current Dealer stock, this is why.
| Old Name | Current Name |
|---|---|
| Leopard | Tiger |
| Rumble | Lightning |
| Barrier | Creation |
| Falcon | Eagle |
| Paw | Pain |
| Chop | Blade |
Fruits like Kilo, Revive, String, Soul, Dragon (Classic), and Meme are no longer obtainable through standard methods. Do not spend Beli hunting for them through the Dealer.
What is the newest fruit in Blox Fruits?
Magnet is the most recently added fruit, introduced in Update 30. It is a Mythical Natural fruit that costs 6,000,000 Beli or 3,500 Robux for the permanent version. For everything on its moveset and how to farm Magnet Tokens, the Blox Fruits Update 30 guide covers the full picture including the new level 3000 cap.
