The strongest sorcerer is free to play, and most people waste him

Gojo, labeled blue judas in Jujutsu Shenanigans, is part of the starting trio and requires zero unlocking. He's modeled after Satoru Gojo from Jujutsu Kaisen and carries one of the deepest toolkits in the game. The catch? Most players spam teleport combos without understanding the layered mechanics underneath. This guide walks through his full moveset, hidden variants, and the combos that hold up in actual matches in Jujutsu Shenanigans.

What does Limitless (the R special) actually do?

Limitless is Gojo's signature special, triggered with R. Lock onto someone and it warps you straight to them. The real trick lives in the timing: spin around before the shatter animation completes and you'll land behind them instead of face-to-face. That split-second adjustment is the difference between eating a counterattack and opening pressure.

Outside of Awakening, each teleport drains about 6% of your meter. Once Six Eyes activates, the cost drops to zero. Plan your aggression around that shift—burning teleports early matters less once you're Awakened.

Against airborne targets, Limitless morphs into a quick air kick that drives them groundward with brief ragdoll. This catches people mid-jump, on walls, or climbing ladders. After connecting, roll instead of front-dashing—opponents can block the dash on recovery.

info
Fire Reversal Red just before the Limitless air kick lands. Both hits register at once and the opponent stays grounded on impact.

Base moveset breakdown

Lapse Blue (move 1)

Lapse Blue needs at least 35 studs of separation. It yanks the target toward you with negative cursed energy, suspends them momentarily, then follows with an unblockable kick. The pull hits for 5 damage, the kick for 7.5. Gojo gains brief melee invincibility during the pull animation, making it safer than it appears.

The pull itself can be blocked from any angle, but the kick afterward ignores block. Cooldown sits at 13 seconds—the fastest in his base kit.

Reversal Red (move 2)

Reversal Red launches a positive-energy sphere that travels 40 studs before detonating in a 15-stud blast radius. Standard damage is 12.5, dropping to 6.25 if blocked. The explosion chips through block at half power but won't finish or launch a blocking opponent.

Two variants exist:

  • Behind variant: Activate Limitless during the windup while locked onto someone. Gojo phases behind them and fires point-blank. Damage holds at 12.5, or spikes to 20.5 if they're airborne (the air kick connects first).
  • Stun variant: If the target was mid-dash or mid-move when the behind variant fires, they freeze in place unable to react. Gojo calls out "赫" (Aka, Red's kanji) and damage climbs to 15.

Cooldown runs 20 seconds. Both variants share that timer with the Limitless special.

Rapid Punches (move 3)

Rapid Punches starts with a spinning kick that immobilizes the target, chains into a flurry, then ends with a final strike that ragdolls them slightly left. Total damage output is 17.25. The ragdoll distance extends if you land it during their wakeup window.

The Face Grater variant activates right after Rapid Punches connects: press Limitless to warp in front of them, scrape them across the ground, then hurl them forward for an extra 10.2 damage. If they blocked the punches, Gojo gets stuck in recovery lag—only commit when the initial hit confirms. Face Grater always throws too far to continue comboing.

Twofold Kick (move 4)

Twofold Kick lifts the enemy skyward with an unblockable opening kick (6 damage), then delivers a guaranteed second kick (4 damage) that sends them higher still. The second hit can't be blocked. Tapping R immediately after the second kick extends the move slightly for marginal extra damage in testing.

warning
Face Grater's teleport windup lengthens if used after a blocked Rapid Punches, leaving you wide open. Only use it on confirmed hits.

How does the Six Eyes Awakening change everything?

Popping Six Eyes consumes a full Awakening bar, restores 25 HP, and runs for 60 seconds. The blindfold drops, Gojo's eyes glow, and every ability upgrades. Limitless stops draining meter entirely, letting you teleport at will for the full duration.

Lapse Blue MAX

The enhanced version fires a controllable blue sphere that vacuums in everything nearby. Damage jumps to 44, unblockable, and it shuts down evasive dodges. Casting it airborne keeps Gojo floating and sharpens aim control dramatically.

If Lapse Blue MAX secures a kill, the azure sphere lingers. Shoot it with Reversal Red MAX (either the direct shot or the rebound version) and it transforms into an Unlimited Purple bomb that detonates after 3 seconds, dealing 50 to 100 damage based on proximity to the epicenter. This empties your entire Awakening bar.

danger
Unlimited Purple (the "Hollow Nuke") drains your Awakening bar to zero. Since Lapse Blue MAX likely already finished the opponent, the setup is niche and risky. Reserve it for multi-opponent situations.

Reversal Red MAX

Fires a powerful red sphere dealing roughly 35 damage at close range, with falloff over distance. Unblockable. Casting mid-air lets Gojo hover with full 360-degree aiming.

For the rebound variant, press 2 and R at the same instant (not one after the other). The sphere arcs behind the opponent and loops back toward Gojo. If it connects on the return trip, it drags them to Gojo and he delivers a Black Flash for 10 damage. If it whiffs, Gojo takes 15 self-damage. The timing window is narrow, and the rebound can miss even when the initial blast lands.

Hollow Purple

Hollow Purple fuses amplified Blue and reversed Red into a purple mass dealing 70 damage, unblockable, and bypassing ragdoll. A dead zone exists directly between Gojo and the orb at launch, so ground shots against nearby targets can miss completely. Casting airborne removes that blind spot and improves targeting on close enemies. Save ground shots for distant targets.

Cooldown is 40 seconds—the longest in the Awakening kit.

Infinite Void (Domain Expansion)

Infinite Void drags all nearby enemies into the domain, paralyzing them by flooding their senses. It deals zero direct damage but locks targets in place for 14 seconds. Cooldown is 120 seconds.

What is the 0.2 Domain and how do you trigger it?

The 0.2 Domain is an alternate Awakening sequence. During the Awakening animation, hit R before it completes. Instead of standard Six Eyes activation, Gojo instantly expands Infinite Void for 0.2 seconds. The sure-hit effect stuns enemies for up to 7 seconds—longer effective range than the standard domain.

After the domain flash, Gojo launches a three-phase rush:

  • Phase 1 and 2: Extended runs where collision damage scales with time between hits (up to 3 per hit in phase 1, up to 20 per hit in phase 2). Gojo has invincibility frames during runs but becomes briefly vulnerable during the slide between phases.
  • Phase 3: Gojo blitzes the immediate area for 20 total damage.
  • Damage multiplier: Each enemy killed during the rush boosts the multiplier (x2 for one kill, x3 for two, x4 for three, and so on).

When the rush finishes, all moves enter cooldown and the Awakening bar empties. The rush operates entirely on a horizontal plane, so enemies positioned above or below Gojo can dodge it and punish the recovery. If you grab 2 enemy heads before the rush ends, a finisher cutscene triggers that grants full invincibility frames throughout.

info
The 0.2 Domain can be canceled during windup like any domain. Its i-frames during the rush aren't constant, so skilled players can interrupt between phases.

Base special combos at a glance

The Lapse Blue + Reversal Red + Limitless chain stands out. In practice, it functions as a guaranteed hit with no evasion window for the opponent. The tradeoff is the ragdoll ends your combo, so you get burst damage but no follow-up.

Pros and cons: is blue judas worth playing?

Gojo suits new players because his startup times are short and multiple moves ignore block. His Limitless teleport creates constant positioning pressure, and his Awakening offers genuine multi-target potential through the 0.2 Domain multiplier system.

The honest weaknesses: his blockable moves carry punishable recovery frames, Face Grater throws enemies too far to combo off, and the Six Eyes Awakening lacks grabs or melee strikes, forcing you to maintain distance where moves become easier to interrupt. The rebound Red MAX variant is also inconsistent, potentially inflicting 15 self-damage on a miss.

Advanced tips worth knowing

  • Invisible Hollow Nuke: If you trigger Lapse Blue MAX's finisher right before Infinite Void expires, then fire Reversal Red MAX where the Blue orb was positioned, the resulting Unlimited Purple has no visual cue, no audio, and no music. It still deals full damage.
  • Airborne Lapse Blue MAX throw: Aim Lapse Blue MAX skyward and immediately teleport. This executes an air kick on the target with no escape window until they hit the ground.
  • Hollow Purple ground vs. air: The standard ground version offers better aim for distant targets. The air version eliminates the dead zone for close-range targets. Choose based on enemy positioning.
  • Blocking animation: Gojo bobs up and down slightly while blocking, representing Infinity from Jujutsu Kaisen. This is purely cosmetic and doesn't affect block mechanics.
