Spooky season is officially on the calendar for Roblox players. The Hollow is the platform's 2026 Halloween event, announced via a teaser trailer on Roblox's official X account with the cryptic message: "you've met them before. but not like this." The trailer dropped on October 10, 2026, and pointed to a launch date of October 22, 2026. No confirmed game list exists yet, but leaks and trailer clues have the community piecing things together fast.
What is The Hollow Roblox Halloween Event?
The Hollow follows the same format as previous major Roblox events. You jump into participating games, complete quests, and earn virtual currency that you exchange for exclusive UGC items and other rewards. Think of it as a Halloween-themed scavenger hunt spread across multiple experiences, each with their own objectives.
The Hollow is a separate event from The Haunt, which was Roblox's 2024 Halloween celebration. Different games, different theme, different rewards. The only thing they share is the seasonal timing.
When does The Hollow start and end?
The Hollow goes live on October 22, 2026, at 11:00 AM PDT and runs through November 9, 2026, giving players roughly two weeks to collect everything on offer. Whether Roblox Premium subscribers get early access similar to the Hunt event is still unconfirmed.
Players in Vietnam should note that the event is rumored to begin around November 5, 2026 in that region rather than the standard October launch date.

All confirmed games for The Hollow 2026
As of October 12, 2026, no games have been officially confirmed for The Hollow. Roblox and the individual game studios have not yet made any formal announcements about participating experiences. This list will grow as studios and Roblox make official confirmations closer to launch.
What games are rumored for The Hollow 2026?
Leaks circulating on X, combined with character appearances in the teaser trailer, have pointed to several popular Roblox experiences as likely participants. Here's the current rumored list:
- 99 Nights in the Forest
- Piggy
- Dandy's World
- Doors
- +1 Speed Keyboard Escape
The trailer's visual clues were the main source for most of these names. Characters from these games appear to have been referenced in the footage, which is how the community connected the dots before any official word.
If you're already playing 99 Nights in the Forest, the Helping Happy event guide covers how to find Happy's body parts, level up the Scythe, and earn all three badges, which is useful prep for any future Hollow quests in that game.
How does The Hollow compare to past Halloween events?
Roblox has run annual Halloween events for years. The Haunt in 2024 set the template that The Hollow appears to be following: multiple participating games, quest-based progression, and a central reward pool of limited UGC cosmetics. The Hollow appears to be scaling up from that baseline, though the full scope won't be clear until the official game list drops.
The Halloween season on Roblox extends well beyond The Hollow itself. Games like Bloxburg are already running their own standalone seasonal content, including a Halloween Ghost Hunt with daily $10,000 cash rewards and Blockbux milestones. Royale High is also active with its Eveningfall Haunted Hollow Halo 2026 event, which runs its own separate reward track.
What should you do before The Hollow launches?
With the launch still a couple of weeks out, here's how to get ready:
- Follow the rumored games now. If Piggy, Doors, or 99 Nights in the Forest are confirmed, being familiar with those games before the event starts saves time.
- Check your Roblox Premium status. Early access may be available for Premium subscribers based on past event patterns, though this is unconfirmed for The Hollow.
- Watch the official Roblox X account. Game confirmations will likely come in waves between now and October 22.
- Clear your schedule for launch day. Two-week events with limited UGC rewards tend to reward players who start early.
