How do you unlock powers in Sell Lemons?

Powers are not available from the start. You need to complete your first rebirth before the system opens up. Rebirth becomes available once you hit $77 Sextillion in cash. At that point, head to Joe the Alien at his UFO and trade for investors. Those investors are the currency you spend on every power in the game.

Once the rebirth is done, open the clipboard from the top menu. That is where all powers live. Each one has its own cost in investors, and some have multiple levels with escalating price tags.

What is the best power to unlock first in Sell Lemons?

After testing progression across multiple rebirths, the priority order becomes pretty clear. Not every power is equal in the early game.

Expert Picker (start here)

Expert Picker is the strongest early purchase. At just 250 investors for level 1, it doubles the cash you earn every time you manually pick fruit from trees. Level 2 costs 1 Million investors and bumps that to x4, while the final level at 1 Quintillion investors reaches x8. For active players who are hands-on with their fruit harvesting, this power pays back its cost almost immediately.

Remote Buy (best quality-of-life upgrade)

Remote Buy costs 1 Trigintillion investors, so it is a late-game purchase. The payoff is significant though. After each rebirth you normally have to physically walk to every unlock location to buy the next upgrade. Remote Buy removes that entirely, letting you purchase the next item from wherever you are standing. For players going through multiple rebirths, this saves a substantial amount of time per run.

Run Faster at level 1 costs only 400 investors and gives you a x1.5 movement speed boost. That sounds minor, but the sewer map in Sell Lemons is a maze, and navigating it repeatedly gets tedious fast. Manage and Stack Upgrade
