Breathedge 2 Guide: All Achievements & How to Unlock Them

Breathedge 2 currently has 39 achievements available during its Early Access Chapter 1 build. Some will unlock while progressing normally, but many are tied to optional interactions, environmental puzzles, collection milestones, and the kind of strange side activities the series is known for.

Achievements are also more useful than standard completion badges. Many provide permanent bonuses to character stats, including oxygen capacity, movement speed, environmental protection, health, and slower survival-stat drain.

This guide covers all 39 currently available Breathedge 2 achievements, what players need to do to unlock them, and their stat bonuses where currently verified.

What do achievements actually do in Breathedge 2?

Achievements can provide permanent character bonuses rather than simply increasing a completion percentage. Their effects can be checked through the game's Rewards screen after they have been unlocked.

Because these bonuses stack, completing even some of the easier achievements can improve survival over the course of Chapter 1. Bonuses include additional oxygen, health, stamina, protection, movement speed, and reduced resource consumption.

tip
Do not leave every achievement until the end of the chapter. Counter-based objectives such as destroying objects, collecting Oxyworms, checking corpses, or retrieving items from trash can all be progressed naturally while exploring.

Exploration achievements

Exploration makes up the largest part of the current achievement list. Most of these require players to interact with unusual objects or complete small environmental challenges around the Outskirts.

Gotta do it

How to unlock: Find the sneakers near the station and complete their interaction with the overhead train power line.

Emergency brake

How to unlock: Find the emergency brake handle inside the train and pull it. The train does not need to be at a specific speed.

Reward: Heat Protection +5

Gangsta

How to unlock: Provoke the police bots and successfully trigger a chase 20 times. Attacking them or causing trouble around the police area can draw their attention.

Reward: Physical Protection +2

People person

How to unlock: Inspect 10 corpses during exploration by interacting with and pulling them toward the player.

Reward: Maximum Oxygen +30

Bum rival

How to unlock: Retrieve a total of 20 items from trash cans. Break or interact with trash containers whenever possible while moving through the Outskirts.

Reward: Fatigue Drain -5%

Hunting Instinct

How to unlock: Use Sui's mechanical arm to pull 10 moles out of their hiding places. Progress carries across multiple encounters.

Reward: Carry Weight +10

tip
Do not throw away unwanted food immediately. Feeding excess nutrients into the Nutri-Pack-O-Mat contributes toward Slave to the Stomach, allowing the achievement to progress naturally while clearing inventory space.

Reward: Check the current Rewards screen for the stat bonus.

Biometrics

How to unlock: Search the debris below the police station for the paint-covered corpse and move it onto the nearby bench.

Reward: Check the current Rewards screen for the stat bonus.

Reward: Check the current Rewards screen for the stat bonus.

important
Some interactions depend on earlier progression. Prankster requires access to the phone after the first story quest, System Administrator requires reaching the PornHubble, and What Did You Expect? should be attempted after completing Fighter.

How to farm achievements efficiently

The easiest way to reach 39/39 is to work on the cumulative achievements while traveling between the more specific environmental objectives.

  • Honorary vandal: Keep the Scrap tool available and destroy valid junk objects whenever the opportunity appears. Reaching 200 becomes much easier if progress starts early.
  • Oxyworm Collector: Pick up Oxyworms whenever they appear rather than leaving the full 300-count grind until the end.
  • Gangsta: Trigger police chases whenever passing through the police station area until the 20 required encounters are complete.
  • People person: Inspect corpses as they are discovered rather than trying to locate 10 of them later.
  • Bum rival: Check trash cans throughout the Outskirts and collect whatever can be pulled from them.
  • Happy whatever!: Save Alcohol and continue drinking bottles over the course of the chapter until the total reaches 50.
  • Slave to the Stomach: Send spare nutrients through the Nutri-Pack-O-Mat instead of discarding them.
  • Hoodlum: Unscrew accessible light bulbs whenever entering a new structure.

A few achievements can also be paired geographically. Fighter, Deja vu, and What Did You Expect? are connected to the bus area, while Alphabet and Medalist can be handled during the same trip around the antenna and Taxi sign.

Similarly, several toilet-related activities overlap with Visitor, so entering every toilet as soon as it is discovered reduces the amount of cleanup needed later.

Where to find more Breathedge 2 guidance

Breathedge 2's Chapter 1 achievement list rewards players for exploring beyond the main objective markers. Some achievements come from normal progression, while others are hidden behind small environmental jokes, unusual interactions, collection milestones, or optional puzzles.

Since achievement bonuses also improve character stats, working toward 39/39 provides practical benefits alongside completion progress.

Breathedge 2 remains in Early Access, meaning additional achievements are expected as RedRuins Softworks adds future chapters and major content updates. For now, these 39 achievements make up the complete Steam achievement set available in Chapter 1.
