FC 26 Guide: Best FUTTIES Re-Release Batch 1 Players & How to Get Them

FUTTIES Re-Release Batch 1 is live in EA SPORTS FC 26 Ultimate Team, and it brings back over 110 special cards from promos that ran throughout the year. From TOTS and TOTY heavyweights to niche picks from Future Stars and Winter Wildcards, this batch covers the full spectrum. If you missed a card the first time around, this is your window to grab it from packs or use it to complete SBCs.

What is the FUTTIES Re-Release Batch 1?

FUTTIES Re-Release is EA's annual summer tradition of cycling previously released promo cards back into packs. Batch 1 pulls from promos including TOTS, TOTY, Winter Wildcards, Future Stars, Ultimate Birthday, FC Fantasy, Knockout Royalty, Trophy Titans, Primetime, Cornerstones, Answer the Call, RTTF, Time Warp, Thunderstruck, Unbreakables, Ultimate Scream, Joga Bonito, FC Pro Live, and UWCL Winners.

Cards range from 87-rated up to 97-rated, so there's genuine value across the entire range. The lower-rated cards work well as SBC fodder, while the elite cards at 94 and above can still hold their own on the pitch at this stage of the game's cycle.

All FUTTIES Re-Release Batch 1 cards

The table below covers every card confirmed in Batch 1, sorted by overall rating.

Which cards are worth targeting?

At the top end, the 97-rated cards from Aitana Bonmati (TOTY), Bruno Fernandes (TOTS), Lamine Yamal (TOTS), and Modric (TOTS) represent the ceiling of Batch 1. These are the cards that will cost the most coins on the transfer market if they surface there, and for good reason.

The 96-rated tier is stacked too. Messi (TOTS), Haaland (TOTY), Pele (Future Stars), and Zidane (Trophy Titans) all sit here. If you missed any of them during their original promo windows, this batch is your best realistic chance to pull them from packs before the game cycle ends.

For players focused on building a competitive squad without spending heavily, the 90-93 range offers genuine value. Cards like Kvaratskhelia (Knockout Royalty, 91), Lewandowski (FC Fantasy, 93), and Palmer (FC Fantasy, 92) are strong performers that won't break the bank to acquire.

How should you use the lower-rated cards?

Not every card in Batch 1 is squad-ready at this point in the year. The 87 and 88-rated cards from promos like FC Pro Live, Cornerstones, and Joga Bonito are better treated as SBC material than starting XI additions. Check the active SBC requirements before selling or discarding them.

The 89-91 range is more interesting. Cards like Bergkamp (Thunderstruck Icon, 91), Drogba (Future Stars Icon, 91), and Kimmich (Ultimate Scream, 89) can still contribute to squads depending on your chemistry setup and formation preferences.

For players building out their Ultimate Team from scratch, pairing these Re-Release cards with a solid foundation is the right move. The FC 26 FUT starter squad guide covers budget-friendly options that pair well with whatever you pull from these packs.

What promos are represented in Batch 1?

Batch 1 draws from a wide spread of promos, which means the card variety is high. Here's a breakdown of the promos featured:

• TOTS (Team of the Season): The largest single source of cards, covering both men's and women's football with ratings from 92 up to 97
• TOTY (Team of the Year): Elite cards including the 97-rated Aitana Bonmati and 96-rated Haaland
• Future Stars: Younger player cards ranging from 88 to 94, including Icon versions like Drogba and Eusebio
• Winter Wildcards: A mix of standard and Hero/Icon cards from 88 to 95, including the 95-rated Zidane
• Ultimate Birthday: One of the biggest represented promos in Batch 1, with cards from 89 to 92
• FC Fantasy: Strong mid-range cards including Palmer, Wirtz, and Lewandowski
• Trophy Titans: Features Hazard (94), Ramires (93), and Gullit (95)
• Knockout Royalty: Includes Kvaratskhelia (91) and Muller (93)
• TOTY HM, RTTF, Primetime, Cornerstones, Answer the Call, Thunderstruck, Unbreakables, Joga Bonito, FC Pro Live, UWCL Winners: Smaller representation but with notable individual cards

Is Batch 1 worth opening packs for?

Honestly, it depends on what you need. If you're targeting a specific card that was previously out of reach price-wise, Re-Release packs give you a chance to pull it directly. The presence of 97-rated cards like Modric and Lamine Yamal (TOTS) means the ceiling is genuinely high.

For SBC grinders, Batch 1 is useful simply because it floods the market with special cards across multiple rating brackets. That tends to push prices down on cards in the 88-91 range, which makes completing rating-based SBCs cheaper for a window of time.
