The Pre-Season Wilson objective set is live in EA SPORTS FC 26, and it's one of four objective sets you need to finish to unlock the FUTTIES Del Piero item. Right now, only the Callum Wilson set is available, so this is the time to knock it out before the window closes. The reward haul is genuinely worth the effort, and with the right squad, you can stack all four tasks across the same matches instead of grinding them separately.
What are the Pre-Season Wilson tasks?
There are four tasks in this objective set, each with its own squad requirement. Playing them independently would cost you far more time than needed. The smart play is building one squad that satisfies all four conditions at once.
Here's what each task asks you to do:

Pre-Season Wilson task overview
How to build the right squad for all 4 tasks
The key to finishing this quickly is recognizing that the task requirements overlap almost perfectly. You need:
- At least 3 Premier League players in your starting 11 (covers Premier Journey)
- At least 2 England players in your starting 11, which can come from your Premier League picks (covers Three Lions)
- At least 6 first-owned players in your starting 11, which can again overlap with the above (covers Winner Winner)
- A ST who you'll use to score 5 goals (covers Deadly Finish)
Building around English Premier League players who you've packed or earned naturally means you can satisfy all four requirements with a single lineup. There's no need to run separate squads for separate tasks.
What rewards do you get?
Completing all four tasks unlocks a solid batch of rewards, plus the Callum Wilson FUTTIES card itself. Here's the full breakdown:
- 10x 84+ Rare Gold Players Pack
- 6x 85+ Rare Gold Players Pack
- 1 of 5 88+ Rare Gold Players (pick)
- 1 of 5 88+ Rare Gold Players (pick)
- 500 SP
- 100 FUTTIES Tokens
- Callum Wilson FUTTIES card
The two 88+ player picks are the standout rewards here. Getting to choose from five 88-rated or higher players twice over gives you a real shot at landing something useful for your squad or valuable on the market.
How many matches do you actually need?
The Winner Winner task sets the ceiling at 8 wins, which is the longest grind of the four. Since Premier Journey only asks for 5 matches played (not wins), and Three Lions needs 3 wins by 2 goals or more, you'll hit those naturally while chasing the 8 wins.
For Deadly Finish, scoring 5 goals with your ST across 8 matches is very manageable, especially in Squad Battles where you control the difficulty. Play on Semi-Pro at minimum, but if you're confident, bumping up to World Class or Legendary will make winning by 2+ goals consistently much easier.
Why complete this objective set?
Beyond the packs and tokens, the FUTTIES Del Piero item is the real long-term prize. This Wilson set is the first of four objective sets required to unlock Del Piero, so getting it done early keeps you on track. The 100 FUTTIES Tokens are also worth collecting since they feed into the broader FUTTIES token exchange.
