The final prize at quest 26 is the Jack-A-Nape outfit, a full free skin you can earn just by playing through October. Quests are split across Battle Royale, Horde Rush, and Reload, and your progress carries over between all of them, so you never have to grind a mode you hate.

These four quests work across both Build and Zero Build modes. The most efficient approach is to tackle all four during the same match rather than treating each one separately.
The container search and Pumpkin Chest objectives overlap cleanly. Land at a Named Location, loot everything in sight, and keep an eye out for a Pumpkin Chest while you work toward 20 containers. The Bonerattler SMG damage requires 500 total, which is achievable across two or three matches without specifically hunting opponents.

Horde Rush Nitemare One (live October 1)
Horde Rush has its own three-quest set that runs parallel to the Battle Royale track. All three objectives can be completed during the same run, which makes this mode surprisingly fast for stacking quest progress.
Perk selection happens naturally during Horde Rush, so the 15-Perk quest completes itself if you just play normally and never skip a Perk prompt. Cube Monster Parts drop from every enemy you defeat, so focus on staying alive and eliminating as many as possible.

Battle Royale Nitemare Two and Reload Nitemare One (arriving October 8)
The second Battle Royale wave and the first Reload wave both unlock on October 8. Reload's Nitemare Island will be added to the rotation alongside Stranger Things and Squid Grounds maps at that point. The individual objectives for these waves are not listed until they go live.
What is the fastest way to complete all quests?
The most time-efficient path is to complete each wave as soon as it releases rather than trying to catch up at the end of October. Since quests arrive in batches, waiting until late October means compressing everything into the final days before the October 31 deadline.
For the current Battle Royale wave, a single well-planned drop handles most of it. Pick a Named Location with high container density, search 20 containers while watching for a Pumpkin Chest, heal whenever possible, and use the Bonerattler SMG in any fight you pick. Four quests in one match is realistic.
For Horde Rush, run the mode with the intent to pick every Perk, buy the Starter Kit early, and focus on Cube Monster kills. Three quests in one run is the standard outcome.
How do the FNAF animatronics fit into Fortnitemares?
The FNAF collaboration is the centerpiece of Fortnitemares 2026. Freddy Fazbear and Foxy have guaranteed spawns inside Freddy Fazbear's Pizzeria, located northeast of Nightmare Neighborhood. Bonnie and Chica roam random locations across the island.
All four animatronics have 300 HP and use melee attacks, meaning they need to close distance before dealing damage. Their behavior mirrors classic FNAF mechanics: they can stay still while you are looking at them, then rush you the moment you look away. Inside the Pizzeria, Freddy and Foxy attack together, so ranged weapons are the safer option.
After defeating an animatronic, hold the Possess button for around 3 seconds to enter its shell. The shell acts as an extra life. When the shell's HP hits zero, you return to your normal character with 30 HP and your existing shields intact, but Overshield does not carry over. This works in Solo, and other animatronics will not attack you while you are inside a possessed shell.
