Fortnite Cheat Master Sprites: All Variants & How to Get Them

Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 Override introduced a new Sprite variant that stands apart from anything in the previous season: the Cheat Master Sprite. Covered in green glitch effects and scrolling code patterns, these Sprites are easy to spot and harder to collect. There are 11 variants in total, and they share one ability that makes them genuinely useful on the map. Here is everything you need to know to get all of them.

What do Cheat Master Sprites do in Fortnite?

Every Cheat Master Sprite shares the same passive ability: when you encounter a Cheat Code on the island and need to enter an input sequence, the Cheat Master Sprite makes all inputs register as correct automatically. You can button-mash through any Cheat Code you find and it will succeed every time. That is the entire ability, shared across all 11 variants regardless of which one you have equipped.

tip
The Cheat Master ability is most useful if you are actively hunting Cheat Codes on the map. If you are not engaging with that system, the base Bush or Adventure Sprite will serve you better in a fight.

Three of the 11 variants are tied to the Sonic the Hedgehog collaboration: Cheat Master Sonic Sprite, Cheat Master Tails Sprite, and Cheat Master Shadow Sprite. The remaining eight are based on original Fortnite characters and designs.

Here is the full list:

  • Cheat Master Adventure Sprite
  • Cheat Master Bush Sprite
  • Cheat Master Jonesy Sprite
  • Cheat Master Shadow Sprite
  • Cheat Master Sonic Sprite
  • Cheat Master Tails Sprite
  • Cheat Master Jackrabbit Sprite
  • Cheat Master Klombo Sprite
  • Cheat Master 8-Bit Sprite
  • Cheat Master Crown Sprite
  • Cheat Master Killswitch Sprite

How to get every Cheat Master Sprite

Cheat Master Sprites do not drop from regular in-game loot. You will not find one in a chest during a normal match, at least not through standard play. The primary routes are Lobby Hack (Admin Panel) Codes, completing specific Story Quests, and mastering certain base Sprite variants. A small number of methods are still unconfirmed.

warning
The Cheat Master Bush Sprite code GatherAndCraft will not work unless you have completed Wrixel Ziggy's Story Quests beforehand. Entering the code without finishing the quest chain will not unlock the Sprite.

How to get the Cheat Master Bush Sprite

The Cheat Master Bush Sprite has the most involved unlock process of any variant currently available. It requires completing a 5-stage Story Quest chain tied to Wrixel Ziggy, an NPC found at Pixel Polys (the small building just north of Shaken Sanctuary). Once the quest is done, the Lobby Hack Code GatherAndCraft becomes redeemable.

Stage 1: Talk to Wrixel Ziggy at Pixel Polys

Head to Pixel Polys and find Wrixel Ziggy standing outside. Interact with him and select "Geno's Threat?" from his dialogue wheel (right side). This triggers the full quest chain.

Stage 2: Build Ziggy's Workshop (4 sub-objectives)

This stage has four tasks that can be completed in any order across multiple matches:

  • Collect 5 Legendary or better items for the workshop upgrade. Defeating bosses or buying Chug Jugs from Mending Machines with Gold are the fastest routes.
  • Collect a Chaos Cube from Stone Sanctum, then secure it in a Lockbox within the same match. Follow the "!" markers on your map. If you get eliminated before placing it, the step resets.
  • Collect 10 shield items for Ziggy's anvil. Shield Potions and Small Shields from any source count, and progress carries across matches.
  • Collect 10 weapons dropped by eliminated players. Pick up weapons from players you eliminate until you reach 10 total. This also carries across matches.

Stage 3: Use Wrixel Ziggy's Crafting Table

Return to Pixel Polys and go inside the building. The crafting table is just to the left of the entrance. Interact with it to complete this stage.

Stage 4: Collect a Coconut from Peak

Head southeast of Lifty Lodge to find the Peak Scout NPC. Speaking with the Peak Scout instantly gives you the Coconut. This happens every match without fail, and the step completes even if you are eliminated afterward.

Stage 5: Build Wrixel Ziggy's Anvil

Return to Pixel Polys one final time. Inside the building, to the left of the crafting table, you will find an anvil prompt. Interact with it to build the anvil and complete the entire quest chain.

Unlocking the code after completing the quest

Once the quest chain is finished, open the Lobby, go to ".../admin panel", and enter GatherAndCraft. The Cheat Master Bush Sprite unlocks immediately.

important
The code input screen is in the Lobby, not in-game. Make sure you are back in the main menu before attempting to redeem it.

What about the Bush Sprite base variant?

The base Bush Sprite is one of the three Starter Sprites available from the beginning of Chapter 7 Season 4, so you may already have it. Beyond the starter selection, Blue Cheat Code Chests offer the most reliable in-game drop chance for the base variant, though all Cheat Code Chests have some probability of dropping one. The base Bush Sprite grants a bush camouflage after a short delay, with the timer decreasing as you level it up. At max level, the bush spawns instantly on elimination.

For players building out a full Sprite collection, the complete Sprite abilities and locations guide covers every variant in Chapter 7 Season 3 and Season 4 ranked by rarity.

How rare are Cheat Master Sprites?

Cheat Master Sprites are not the rarest Sprites in the game since several of them are obtainable for free through codes and quests. That said, they do not appear as in-game loot drops under normal circumstances. The estimated drop rate for finding one in the wild is effectively zero for now. If you want them, the Lobby Hack Code method is by far the most direct path.

The four variants with unconfirmed methods (Shadow, Jackrabbit, Klombo, Killswitch) may become available through future quest releases or additional codes later in the season. Trading is technically possible for any Sprite, and if you want to know how that system works, the Fortnite Sprite trading guide walks through the full process.
