Fortnite's Star Wars: Droid Tycoon mode keeps expanding, and the Droid Fusion mechanic is the biggest addition yet. Launched as part of a special event on August 23, Fusion lets you combine three Droids into something better, and in some cases, into Droids you simply cannot get any other way. There are 17 fusion-exclusive Droids in the game right now, spanning Rare through Mythic rarity, and none of them appear on the Sandcrawler conveyor. If you want them, you craft them.
How does Droid Fusion work in Droid Tycoon?
Fusion unlocks at Rebirth 3, so you need to hit that milestone before the crafting menu becomes available. Once unlocked, you select three Droids to combine. The resulting Droid's quality is determined by the lowest-quality Droid in the trio, so if two of your Droids are Rainbow quality and one is Diamond, you walk away with a Diamond-quality result.

When three Droids of the same rarity and quality are fused, the output is a higher-tier version of that type. Three identical Droids produce a higher-tier copy of that specific Droid. The recipes below, though, are for the fusion-exclusive variants that only exist through crafting.

These Droids cannot spawn naturally. The only path to owning them is hitting the exact recipe. Quality still scales with your lowest input Droid, so bring the best materials you can.

What should you prioritize fusing first?
The Rare recipes are the most accessible entry point since their ingredient Droids, like Mouse, ARG, ID10, and 2BB, show up relatively often at the Sandcrawler. Running those first lets you practice the mechanic without burning high-value materials.

The Epic tier is where resource management starts to matter. SCRP-R requires a Groundmech, which is one of the harder Droids to acquire naturally.
