Fortnite v41.30 Sprite Release Date and Time (July 30)

Fortnite's Sprite collection keeps growing, and the next wave brings three new additions to Fortnite: the Peely Sprite, the Llama Sprite, and the Quack Zero Point Sprite. With the season winding down and Sprites confirmed not to carry over into Chapter 7 Season 4, this week's drop matters more than usual. Here's everything you need to know before they hit the island.

When do the Peely, Llama, and Quack Zero Point Sprites release?

All three Sprites arrive with Fortnite update v41.30 on July 30, 2026, going live at 9 AM ET after downtime concludes. If you're in a different region, here's when to expect them:

These three Sprites bring the total Sprite count in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 to 96, up from the current 93.

How do you get the new Sprites?

The standard method applies here. Search Sprite Chests scattered around the island after the update goes live. The Sprite Locator item helps track down nearby chests if you're having trouble finding them. If your luck is running cold, trading with friends is always an option since all three Sprites are tradeable.

tip
With the season ending soon and Sprites not carrying over to Chapter 7 Season 4, prioritize hunting the Quack Zero Point Sprite first. Its drop rate makes it the hardest to obtain, and you won't get another shot at it this season.

What abilities do the new Sprites have?

Quack Zero Point Sprite

The base Zero Point Sprite ability spawns a Shield Bubble Jr. whenever you use a healing item on yourself. The Quack variant is brand new to Fortnite, so its exact ability hasn't been confirmed yet. Based on the Quack naming pattern, there's speculation it could reduce reload time in water, though nothing is locked in until the update goes live.

Peely Sprite

The Peely Sprite ability hasn't been officially detailed, but given Peely's character history as a vulnerable, at-risk figure in Fortnite lore, the leading theory is a boost to revive speed. That kind of passive utility would pair well with aggressive team compositions, especially against high-damage builds.

Llama Sprite

The Llama Sprite fits neatly into the resource-gathering niche. The expected ability would give players a small chance to earn materials or loot when breaking structures, which is genuinely useful in standard Battle Royale where maxing out resources early changes how fights play out. Think of it as a slower, more consistent version of loot-generation Sprites already in the game.

warning
Abilities for the Peely and Llama Sprites are unconfirmed ahead of launch. Treat any specific numbers or mechanics as speculation until the update drops.

Which new Sprite is the rarest?

The Quack Zero Point Sprite is going to be the rarest of the three, and it's not particularly close. Galaxy-tier Sprites sit at some of the lowest drop rates in the game. For context, the Galaxy Grim Sprite has a documented drop chance of 0.0000004000%. The Quack Zero Point falls into that same rarity tier, making it essentially a lottery ticket.

To put that number in perspective: your odds of encountering all three DC Bosses simultaneously and winning that fight are more realistic than pulling a Quack Zero Point from a Sprite Chest on any given attempt. That said, people do get lucky, and trading remains a fallback option if you're determined to add it to your collection.

Will the Peely and Llama Sprites have variants?

No variant details have been confirmed for the Peely or Llama Sprites ahead of launch. The Seven Sprite launched with Holofoil variants, so there's precedent for new Sprites arriving with alternate forms. At minimum, Gold Sprite variants are a reasonable expectation for both. Check our Fortnite Holofoil Sprites guide for context on how variant Sprites work and how to track them down efficiently.

For the Quack Zero Point Sprite, its status as the first Quack-variant Sprite makes it unique regardless of whether additional variants exist.

Should you chase these Sprites before the season ends?

The short answer is yes, specifically for the Quack Zero Point. Sprites are not carrying over to Chapter 7 Season 4, which means anything you don't collect this season is gone. The Peely and Llama Sprites are likely to be more accessible given their expected rarity tiers, so focus your early runs on Sprite Chests with the Quack Zero Point as the priority target.
