Tim Burton's bio-exorcist has crashed Fortnite's Fortnitemares 2026 event, and the Beetlejuice skin is one of the better Halloween crossovers the Item Shop has seen in a while. The black-and-white striped suit translates surprisingly well into the game's art style, and the bundle packs in some genuinely creative accessories. Here's everything you need to know before the set disappears from the shop.
Beetlejuice in the Item Shop
How much does the Beetlejuice skin cost in Fortnite?
The Beetlejuice outfit costs 1,500 V-Bucks and comes bundled with the Beetlejuice's Marquee back bling automatically. If you want every cosmetic in the set, the Beetlejuice Bundle runs 2,400 V-Bucks, which is a significant discount against the combined regular value of all items.
| Option | Price | Included items |
|---|---|---|
| Beetlejuice Outfit | 1,500 V-Bucks | Outfit + Beetlejuice's Marquee back bling |
| Beetlejuice Bundle | 2,400 V-Bucks | All 8 cosmetics in the set |
Epic's shop listing puts the full set's regular value at 5,300 V-Bucks, making the bundle a roughly 55% discount. The 900 extra V-Bucks you pay over the outfit-only price gets you six additional items with a combined regular value of 3,800 V-Bucks, so the math heavily favors the bundle if you want more than just the skin.
What's in the Beetlejuice Bundle?
The full bundle contains eight cosmetics:
- Beetlejuice (Outfit) — Epic rarity, in-game description reads "Say his name three times."
- Beetlejuice's Marquee (Back Bling) — a flashing marquee sign spelling out the character's name
- Marquee Masher (Pickaxe)
- Six-Stringed Sandworm (Guitar)
- Sandworm Sneakers (Kicks)
- Beetlejuice Spirals (Wrap)
- Day-o (Emote)
- Sandworm Surfer (Emote)
The sandworm theme runs through several pieces, referencing the striped creature from the films. The guitar and sneakers are the standout accessories; both are distinct enough to work with other outfits outside of Halloween.
How to buy the Beetlejuice skin step by step
- Launch Fortnite and select the Item Shop tab from the lobby.
- Scroll to the Fortnitemares section.
- Select either the Beetlejuice Outfit (1,500 V-Bucks) or the Beetlejuice Bundle (2,400 V-Bucks).
- Confirm your V-Bucks balance and complete the purchase.
- Open your Locker and equip Beetlejuice from the Outfit slot.
The skin carries over to every platform linked to your Epic account, and gifting is available as long as both accounts meet Epic's standard gifting requirements.
When does the Beetlejuice skin leave the Fortnite Item Shop?
The set arrived on October 23, 2026 at 5 PM PT. Epic does not publish official exit dates, but the Beetlejuice skin is expected to leave the shop around November 2, 2026. That aligns with the end of the Fortnitemares 2026 event window.
Shop rotations can shift without notice, so if you're on the fence, buying sooner rather than later is the safer call.
Bundle purchase confirmation
Is the bundle actually worth buying?
The short answer: yes, if you want more than the skin alone. The 900 V-Buck premium over the outfit price is low for six additional items, and the sandworm accessories are film-accurate enough to satisfy fans of the source material. The Day-o emote in particular references the iconic song from the 1988 film, which makes it one of the more thematically complete emotes in recent memory.
If cosmetics outside the outfit don't interest you, the 1,500 V-Buck option is perfectly fine. The back bling is included at that price, so you're not missing anything core to the look.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Beetlejuice skin free in Fortnite?
No. There is no free path to the Beetlejuice skin. It is an Item Shop exclusive with no associated quests or event rewards.
Can you buy individual bundle items separately?
Yes. The back bling, pickaxe, kicks, guitar, wrap, and emotes each have individual prices. The back bling alone costs 300 V-Bucks, the pickaxe is 500 V-Bucks, the Sandworm Sneakers are 1,000 V-Bucks, the Six-Stringer Sandworm Pack is 800 V-Bucks, the wrap is 500 V-Bucks, and each emote is 500 V-Bucks. Buying everything individually costs far more than the 2,400 V-Buck bundle.
Does Beetlejuice have any special abilities in Fortnite?
No. The skin is purely cosmetic and does not grant any in-game abilities or movement options beyond standard gameplay.
