Freddy Krueger has arrived in Fortnite for Fortnitemares 2026, and the A Nightmare on Elm Street bundle is one of the more complete horror collabs the game has seen. You get the full Freddy look, a Mythic weapon tied to the boss encounter, and a window that closes on October 17, 2026. Here is everything you need to know to grab it before the deadline.
What's in the A Nightmare on Elm Street bundle?
The bundle packs seven cosmetic items, covering every slot from back bling to kicks. Buying everything separately would run you 4,700 V-Bucks, but the bundle price drops that to 2,300 V-Bucks. If you only want the character skin, that sits at 1,600 V-Bucks on its own.
There is also a combo option: the Freddy Krueger Skin paired with Freddy's Glove Pickaxe for 1,500 V-Bucks, which is worth noting if the pickaxe is the one item you want alongside the skin.

Fortnite Guide: How to Get Freddy Krueger Skin
How do you get Freddy's Nightmare Mythic weapon?
Buying the skin does not hand you the Freddy's Nightmare Mythic weapon. That one you earn in-game. Freddy Krueger appears on the island as one of the seven Fortnitemares 2026 boss NPCs, and defeating him drops the weapon as loot.
The Mythic has a mechanic worth understanding before you chase it: it traps enemies in a nightmare state, and you can then teleport to close the gap before slashing with the iconic claw attack. It plays into the Freddy Krueger fantasy better than most collab weapons manage. For a full walkthrough on tracking down the weapon and beating the boss, the Freddy's Nightmare weapon location guide covers the encounter in detail.
Is the Freddy Krueger skin worth buying?
The skin itself is a faithful recreation of the character, complete with the striped sweater, fedora, and burned face. The Freddy's Glove Pickaxe is the standout accessory because it doubles as the signature weapon and looks good in the lobby. The Freddy's Coming Emote captures the slow, deliberate walk from the films, which is the kind of detail that makes a collab skin feel considered rather than rushed.
At 2,300 V-Bucks for the full bundle, it is priced in line with other major horror collabs Fortnite has run. The Fortnitemares 2026 event also brings the FNAF bundle with all animatronic skins for players who want to stack horror cosmetics this season, and there is a separate Freddy Fazbear's Pizza location guide if you want to farm that content alongside the Krueger boss.
For everything else happening this season, the full Fortnite guides collection has you covered on bosses, quests, and the rest of the Fortnitemares content before the event wraps up.
