Forza Horizon 6 Series 1 Autumn ...

The King of the Road weekly challenge in Forza Horizon 6 puts the classic 1989 Nissan Silvia K's front and center across four distinct tasks. All of it sits under the Autumn section of the Festival Playlist, which opens up once you clear the Rookie Yellow Wristband event in the main story. Here is everything you need to clear each task without wasting time.

What do you need before starting the King of the Road challenge?

The single prerequisite is the Rookie Yellow Wristband, earned through the main story. Once that is done, the Festival Playlist unlocks and the Autumn section becomes available. You may have already knocked out the first task organically while working through the campaign, so check your progress before grinding anything.

Task 1: How do you get the 1989 Nissan Silvia K's?

The first task is simply to acquire the 1989 Nissan Silvia K's and drive it at least once. There are two ways to get it:

  • Race reward: Complete the Airfield Trial in Minamino and the Silvia K's is your prize.
  • Buy it directly: The car is available for purchase in the showroom. It is not expensive, so buying it outright saves time if you want to skip the race route.

Once you have the car, drive it to any Horizon Festival. That single drive is all it takes to tick off task one.

Task 2: How do you earn 3 stars at Drift Zones?

With the Silvia K's in your garage, head to any Drift Zone on the map. The star rating system works like this: the longer and cleaner your drift through the designated road section, the higher your score. Hit a wall or reverse direction and you restart from zero.

The good news is that the 3 stars are cumulative across multiple Drift Zones, not required in a single run. So:

  • You can hit one star on three separate Drift Zones and still complete the task.
  • You can repeat the same Drift Zone back-to-back if you find one that suits your driving style.
  • No specific Drift Zone is required, so pick whichever road feels most natural.

The Silvia K's handles drift sections well naturally, so resist the urge to tune it heavily before attempting this task. Stock or lightly tuned, it will get the job done.

Task 3: How do you win a Road Race with the 1989 Nissan Silvia K's?

Pick any Road Race on the map and take first place in the Silvia K's. The car performs well in this category, so a standard race on normal difficulty should be straightforward.

The one complication: some Road Races, like the Tokyo Railway Sprint, restrict your vehicle selection and the Silvia K's may not appear in the allowed lineup. Here is the workaround:

  1. Complete the locked race once using any permitted vehicle.
  2. This unlocks the custom race option for that event.
  3. Go back in, lower the difficulty settings, and select the Silvia K's as your car.
  4. Win the race to complete the task.

If you are not locked out of any Road Race, simply enter one directly with the Silvia K's and win. Dropping the AI difficulty is always an option if the car feels underpowered against the field.

Task 4: How do you complete 2 runs at the Festival Kilometer Drag Meet?

The final task sends you to the Festival Kilometer Drag Meet, located northeast of the Horizon Festival Site on the raceway. This is a standing-start drag race format.

Here is exactly how each run works:

  1. Approach the event and take a position at a grid spot.
  2. Interact with the grid spot to confirm your entry.
  3. Wait for the lights. A false start means you return to the grid and restart the countdown.
  4. When the light turns green, drive flat out to the finish line.
  5. Return to the grid and complete a second run the same way.

You do not need to win either run. Completing both is all the task requires. Two clean runs with the Silvia K's and the challenge is done.

Once all four tasks are done, open the Festival Playlist menu and redeem your reward to officially finish the King of the Road weekly event. If you want to keep building on your progress, the Forza Horizon 6 guides collection covers everything from earning Credits fast to unlocking Wheelspins and Super Wheelspins so you can keep your garage growing week after week.
