Overview
Jelly Bubble is a casual action party game developed and published by BINGOBELL, released on August 4, 2026. Up to 6 players online or 4 players locally control wobbly jelly creatures across chaotic arenas, collecting soap to power up, stealing resources from rivals, and using a color-based attract-and-repel mechanic to control the battlefield. The core loop is simple to grasp and genuinely hard to master.
Soap is the game's central resource. Pick it up from the ground, snatch it from a distracted opponent, or watch someone steal yours the moment you let your guard down. The more soap you carry, the stronger your abilities and the larger your jelly form grows. Deliver it to the scoring point to climb the leaderboard, but getting there with a full load is its own challenge.

How does the color mechanic work?
The attract-and-repel system is what separates Jelly Bubble from a standard party brawler. Matching colors pull players together, letting you steal resources or absorb a weaker opponent outright. Mismatched colors push players apart, which sounds like a disadvantage until you realize a well-timed repel can blast an enemy off a ledge or save you from a bad situation. Switching colors at the right moment is the game's highest-skill expression, and it turns every encounter into a quick read-and-react puzzle.

Multiplayer and social features
Jelly Bubble supports up to 6 players in online matches and 2 to 4 players in local multiplayer, making it a natural fit for both couch sessions and online friend groups. Multiple competitive and cooperative modes keep the format from going stale, and the game's short match structure means it's easy to play one more round without realizing an hour has passed. Customization options let players mix and match outfits for their jelly creatures, adding a light layer of personal expression to the chaos.
What does the map editor add?
The DIY map editor is a genuine content multiplier. Players can build arenas from scratch, whether that's a trampoline-only bounce pit, a boost-speed racetrack, or something stranger, then share those maps with friends and see how they hold up under actual match conditions. Custom maps shared through the community expand the game well beyond its built-in modes, and the editor's accessibility means you don't need design experience to produce something worth playing.

Content and replayability
Between the 20-plus soap varieties, multiple game modes, custom map creation, and the inherent unpredictability of six players all trying to betray each other simultaneously, Jelly Bubble builds replayability into its foundation rather than bolting it on as an afterthought. The attract-and-repel mechanic ensures no two encounters play out identically, and the map editor means the pool of available arenas keeps growing as the community creates. For a fast-paced indie party game, that's a solid amount of content to work through.
