Anime Adventures is in a quiet stretch right now, sitting somewhere between old holiday events and the incoming Update 21, but a handful of codes are still active and worth grabbing before they expire. The Roblox tower defense experience from Gomu Development has been running codes for years, and while the flow has slowed, the rewards on the table still include Gems and reroll tokens that matter at any stage of the game.
Here's the lowdown on every code that works right now.
Every working code right now
These five codes are currently active in Anime Adventures:
| Code | Reward | Requirement |
|---|---|---|
| DUNGEONS | 1x Dungeon Run Key | None |
| UPDATESOON5189 | 500x Gems | None |
| APRILFOOLS | Unspecified reward | Level 20+ |
| MILLIONFAVES | Unspecified reward | Level 20+ |
| 2BILLIONAA | Unspecified reward | Level 50+ |
The key here is that UPDATESOON5189 hands out 500 Gems with no level gate, making it the most immediately useful code for newer players. The level-gated codes require you to hit 20 or 50 before redeeming, so newer accounts should prioritize the first two and work toward the others.
How to actually redeem them
The redemption process is straightforward. Load into the game and head to the lobby. The Codes area sits directly in front of the Raid zone. Walk into it and the redemption box opens automatically. Type in the code, or copy and paste it directly from the table above, then hit Redeem.
Anime Adventures codes are not case-sensitive, so capitalization won't trip you up. Spelling is the only thing to watch.
What Update 21 could mean for the code pool
Gomu Development has confirmed Update 21 is on the way, and historically that kind of major content drop comes with fresh promo codes. The current batch feels like holdover content from earlier this year, which explains why the lobby is still serving up a mix of holiday and April Fool's event visuals simultaneously.
What most players miss is that codes tied to major updates tend to carry better rewards than standard milestone codes. The UPDATESOON5189 code itself hints at this pattern, arriving ahead of a content drop with a solid Gem payout attached.
If you enjoy this kind of free-currency hunt across adventure games, the pattern holds across the genre. Developers drop codes around updates, anniversaries, and follower milestones, so watching official social channels around launch windows is the most reliable way to catch them early.
For players who want to stay sharp on code tracking across other titles, the gaming guides hub covers active codes and redemption steps for a wide range of Roblox experiences and beyond. And if you want to see how a similar system plays out in a different game entirely, the DragonSword: Awakening codes guide breaks down what to expect when a code system is just getting started.
