In a strategic partnership, Animoca Brands, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Polygon Labs have introduced the MoonRealm Express Accelerator, a collaborative effort to enhance the development of web3 products and solutions within Animoca Brands' Mocaverse project. The MoonRealm Express Accelerator aims to empower web3 builders globally, focusing on areas such as decentralized identity, SocialFi, and GameFi. This accelerator program seeks to inspire innovation and the creation of solutions on the Mocaverse platform.
MoonRealm Express Accelerator aims to support aspiring builders by helping them turn concepts into real-world solutions. The program facilitates innovation throughout the entire growth cycle of a web3 startup, ranging from the inception of creative ideas to web3 masterclasses, builder-centric hackathons, and incubating high-quality projects.
The inaugural cohort of the MoonRealm Express Accelerator will focus on building and extending Mocaverse's expanding ecosystem, centering around the recent launch of Moca ID and Realm Points on the Polygon chain. The program’s first hackathon will be announced in early 2024 and will task builders and projects to devise protocols that utilize and grow the Moca ID on-chain identity ecosystem, and that integrate Realm Points as integral assets.
Mocaverse pursues the mission to connect, aggregate, and grow the Animoca Brands network by building the largest web3 ecosystem in culture and entertainment. We’re incredibly excited to partner with AWS and Polygon Labs to offer ambitious builders an opportunity to join this growing ecosystem and empower them with the knowledge, tools, and resources to contribute to and co-create on the major web3 identity and loyalty platform.
Key hackathon tracks include web3 Identity, web3 Social, and web3 Growth, with the goal of establishing Mocaverse as a platform for web3 loyalty programs. The vision is realized through the collaborative efforts of Animoca Brands, AWS, and Polygon Labs, spanning web3, cloud, AI, and blockchain technologies. As a key partner, AWS will be investing approximately $1.1 million dollars to support up to 500 startups in the inaugural cohort. Startups will benefit from AWS cloud resources through AWS Activate, technical masterclasses, exposure to venture capital, go-to-market support, and more.

Polygon Labs will be providing workshops for participating startups, equipping them with the knowledge and skills for success in this evolving field. Additionally, Polygon Labs will be contributing cash bounties for hackathons, and solution providers in the Polygon ecosystem will offer vouchers for services.
