The much-anticipated open beta 1.0 release of Apeiron, powered by Ronin, is now officially live as part of Season 3. This update brings new features, including PvP and PvE leaderboards, with a total prize pool of up to 1 million $APRS tokens, in addition to other in-game rewards. First, What is Apeiron?
Apeiron is the world's first NFT-based god game running on the Ronin blockchain. It features a unique rogue-lite dungeon card-battler combined with god game simulation gameplay inspired by classic god games like Populous and Black & White.
Apeiron is being developed by a team of 60 Hong Kong developers with their prototype generating one of the largest single-game seed fundings in web3 from investors including Hashed, IVC, Morningstar Ventures, Spartan Group, and DeFiance. To date, Apeiron has raised $24 million, including a recent $13.5 million seed round.

Introducing Season 3 Newest Features
Season 3 introduces both PvP and PvE leaderboards, running from September 5th to October 17th. This marks the first time Apeiron has featured concurrent PvP and PvE leaderboards, each with different reward structures:
- PvP Leaderboard: The top 5000 players will share a prize pool of over 240,000 $APRS tokens and 340+ Golden Apostle Tickets. The top 3 players will each receive 2500 $APRS tokens. To qualify for the rewards, players must reach at least Gold Rank.
- PvE Leaderboard: This leaderboard tracks the best dungeon score achieved in a single playthrough. The top 10,000 players can earn Animus, Golden Apostle Tickets, and additional rewards based on their ranking. New in-game items are available to help players improve their dungeon performance and increase their chances of securing rewards.
With a combined total of up to 1 million $APRS tokens, the prize pool is estimated to be worth approximately $186,000 at the time of writing.

Pre-Registration, Rewards, and Events
In conjunction with the Season 3 release, mobile pre-registration for Apeiron is now open in select regions, including Hong Kong, Japan, and several Southeast Asian countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Android users can pre-register via the Google Play Store, while iOS pre-registration will soon be available on the App Store. Additional regions will be added over time, expanding access to more players globally.
Pre-registration rewards are available to those who sign up, and a dedicated 500,000 $APRS prize pool has been set aside for mobile launch events. Early pre-registrants in eligible countries will have access to exclusive rewards, and those outside these regions are encouraged to monitor Apeiron's social media channels for updates on expanded availability.

Apeiron will also make an appearance at the Tokyo Game Show (TGS) 2024, Asia's largest annual video game convention, from September 26th to 29th. The first two days of the event will be business-focused, while the final two days will be open to the public. Apeiron will host its own booth, showcasing a new opening cinematic and offering exclusive on-site mini-tasks and quests for visitors.
Attendees will have the opportunity to earn exclusive merchandise, including tote bags, t-shirts, cushions, and plushies.
