A couple of weeks ago, Axie Origin players got to enjoy the commencement of Phase 3 of the game's Season 0. At the time, players could finally earn SLP rewards in ranked mode and mint NFT runes and charms on the Ronin blockchain. Axie Origin has now received an update that addresses community feedback from the previous patch and introduces new features to its multiplayer PVP and PVE adventure modes.
Axie Origin Season 0 receives an update
The update focuses primarily on security improvements to protect players. Axie Origin now includes 2 Factor Authentication and CAPTCHA verification during battles. Players who find opponent stickers distracting can now disable them. The patch also includes extensive balance adjustments detailed separately, along with various UI improvements.
The bug fixes include:
- Silence Whisper now correctly negates poison damage
- Status effect icons no longer disappear while the effect remains active
- Pure Water and Lumber Shield no longer stay in the player's hand after use
- Status effects with multiple stacks now combine properly instead of splitting into two separate instances
- Auto end turn feature now works correctly on turns 3 and 5
- The Incubator rune now properly increases max HP for all summons
- Non-banned Axies no longer incorrectly display the "banned" badge
- Various rune and card descriptions have been clarified
