Focus on the Mobile Puzzle Game Market

Founded by a team with prior experience at leading gaming studios such as Gram Games, Dream Games, and Good Job Games, Circle Games is concentrating its efforts on the mobile puzzle genre. The studio's first release, Sort Express, will be a primary focus as it plans to scale the game globally and introduce additional content.

CEO Gokturk Balıkcı has stated that the company is prioritizing both team growth and product development, with an emphasis on creating a high-quality user experience that aligns with current player expectations in the casual puzzle segment.

Balıkcı pointed out that player expectations have shifted dramatically over the past ten years, with audiences now demanding better visuals and more engaging gameplay. He also emphasized that Turkey has built a reputation for producing successful mobile puzzle games, giving Circle Games access to a strong pool of experienced local talent. The studio plans to introduce new mechanics in later gameplay stages to boost long-term player retention.

Balıkcı stressed the importance of innovating in progression systems and game mechanics to keep players engaged over time. These initiatives are designed to help the studio's games stand out in a crowded mobile gaming market.

Bitkraft Ventures partner Jasper Brand noted that Circle Games distinguished itself among seed-stage studios through its combination of game development expertise, rapid development cycles, and strong grasp of market trends. He highlighted that the company's work on features like dynamic difficulty adjustments and playable advertisements gives it a competitive edge.
