Yuga Labs, the creators of the quirky Dookey Dash game, have unveiled the much-anticipated sequel, Dookey Dash Unclogged. Unlike its predecessor, this mobile-first game promises a full gaming experience complete with a battle pass and in-app purchases (IAPs). Notably, this iteration breaks away from the NFT-gated model, allowing anyone to play. However, Yuga Labs NFT-holders, including Apes, Mutants, Kodas, and HV-MTL Forge, will enjoy exclusive benefits.
The gameplay will revolve around weekly and seasonal events, offering players the chance to win boosts, golden plungers, and coveted NFT invites to major tournaments. Rewards include Apecoin and exclusive Yuga NFTs.
Scheduled for release in Q1 2024, Dookey Dash Unclogged will be available for both PC/Mac and mobile platforms through app store downloads, departing from its original browser-based availability.
Another noteworthy aspect of this announcement is Yuga Labs' collaboration with Faraway Games. This partnership integrates Faraway Games' User-Generated Content (UGC) platform into the gaming experience. Players can now create their own 3D characters, vehicles, and stickers, leveraging Faraway's integration with the Ready Player Me avatars.
Creators can sell their designs within the Faraway Shop, not only for use in Dookey Dash Unclogged but also in other games and experiences supporting the technology. This includes Yuga's Legends of the Mara and Faraway's Mini Royale: Nations and Serum City games. The Faraway Shop goes beyond individual creations, allowing users to set up storefronts to sell items created by others, earning up to 40% of the overall sale price. Additionally, a 5% bonus is available through referral codes.
