Draftables, a tactical football management game built on the Avalanche blockchain, will begin its Pre-Season Tournament on June 27. The tournament invites players to compete by playing matches, completing social tasks, and engaging in creative challenges. This event is structured to reward participants with $DRAFT token airdrops and limited edition non-fungible tokens (NFTs). The game is accessible on web browsers, Android, and iOS devices, allowing broad participation.

How the competition works
The Pre-Season Tournament runs on a dual-leaderboard system. Players rack up points by winning ranked matches. The In-Game Leaderboard tracks pure gameplay performance — wins, streaks, and statistical milestones. The Staking Site Leaderboard adds social and creative tasks to the mix, rewarding players who engage beyond the pitch. The staking leaderboard determines overall rewards, but match performance remains the most direct path to higher $DRAFT point totals.
Draftables frames this as its biggest event yet. Players step into the roles of franchise owner, coach, and general manager, building and managing teams to climb the rankings. Points earned in matches flow into Draftables' staking platform, which promises early airdrop access, limited edition cosmetics, and partner incentives from The Arena, a SocialFi platform backing the tournament.

Daily quests and creative challenges
Match wins aren't the only way to earn $DRAFT points. Draftables has built out a rotating schedule of daily quests and weekly challenges. In-game tasks focus on victories, win streaks, and hitting specific stat benchmarks. Creative challenges ask players to produce content like highlight reels or custom team logos. Social tasks include joining the Discord server or following official accounts on X, pushing community growth and visibility.
Nine limited edition NFTs are up for grabs during the tournament. These include jerseys from the Partner Jersey Collection and the Hiro Collection. The Partner collection features home and away kits branded by Avalanche, The Arena, VaporFi, and AiCE ARENA. The Hiro Collection showcases the studio's own designs.
Top performers can unlock the Designer Role, granting access to Draftables' design toolkit (still in development). Selected players work directly with the team to create custom jerseys. These user-designed NFTs become mintable collectibles at full launch, with designers earning a cut of any sales revenue.

Registration and staking setup
Signing up for the Pre-Season Tournament is free. Players can register through a web browser or Arena Social using an email address. Connecting a crypto wallet through the "My Account" section unlocks the staking dashboard and $DRAFT point collection. The staking dashboard isn't live yet, but early sign-ups are encouraged. Draftables has published livestreams and resources to help players understand the mechanics before the tournament kicks off.
The Draftables Pre-Season Tournament fits into a broader pattern in web3 gaming: competitive play tied to blockchain incentives. By mixing tactical gameplay with creative and social engagement, the tournament aims to build a player-driven ecosystem that extends past the field. Starting June 27, the event offers a structured path to earn digital assets, engage with a web3 sports community, and shape the early economy of a game still finding its footing.
