Epic Games has launched its 2025 Holiday Sale, providing PC gamers with discounted prices on a large selection of titles across AAA, AA, and indie categories. The sale is running from December 11 at 11:00 AM ET through January 8, 2026, at 11:00 AM ET. Players can take advantage of reductions of up to 95% on popular games while also earning 20% back in Epic Rewards on select purchases. The campaign allows both seasoned gamers and newcomers to expand their libraries ahead of the new year.
Major titles in the sale include Battlefield 6, which is available at £41.99 after a 30% discount, offering 20% back in Epic Rewards. Sports fans can pick up EA SPORTS FC™ 26 for £23.99, along with a bonus Fortnite outfit and Epic Rewards. Open-world and story-driven games such as Red Dead Redemption 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 are also included, with discounts of 75% and 65% respectively. Other notable titles include God of War, Mortal Kombat 1, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, providing extensive options for a variety of gameplay preferences.
Free Games and Additional In-Game Extras
Alongside discounted games, Epic Games is offering free games and a series of Epic Extras throughout the sale. Free offerings include full games for a limited time, as well as cosmetic packs, in-game currency, XP boosts, and trial versions of certain apps. Hogwarts Legacy will be available as a free title during the sale period, and a rotating mystery game will unlock at specific intervals, giving players the opportunity to expand their collections at no cost.
Epic Extras include items such as cosmetic packs for Fall Guys and Rocket League®, Discord Nitro subscriptions, and various starter bundles for other titles. These free offerings remain available for the duration of the sale, encouraging players to check back regularly for new content and rewards.
How the Holiday Sale Functions
The Epic Games Holiday Sale maintains fixed discounted prices throughout the campaign. Unlike some promotional events, discounts do not fluctuate for individual games, ensuring that players can plan purchases with confidence. While additional free games and Epic Extras are released periodically, the core discounts remain consistent until the sale concludes.
Discounts on games generally cannot be combined with other offers. Where multiple promotions apply, the store automatically applies the highest available discount. The sale is accessible via both the Epic Games Launcher and the Epic Games website, allowing gamers to browse and purchase games from their PC or online platform.
Expanding Your Gaming Library
The Holiday Sale provides an opportunity to acquire a wide range of games at reduced prices. From long-standing franchises like Grand Theft Auto and Assassin’s Creed to recent releases such as Alan Wake 2 and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, the sale covers multiple genres including action, RPG, simulation, and tactical shooters. With Epic Rewards providing additional store credit on select purchases, the event offers both immediate savings and future benefits for players.
