The sale went live this week and runs until May 31, covering everything from brand-new releases that launched in the past few months to upcoming preorders that don't hit shelves until September.
The key here is that Fanatical isn't just clearing old inventory. Several titles that launched in early 2026 are already discounted, which is unusual for a third-party key retailer. All purchases come as digital download codes, with most redeemable on Steam and others compatible with GOG or the Epic Games Store.

Resident Evil Requiem, which launched in February, is down to $57.39 from $70. Crimson Desert from Pearl Abyss, released in March, sits at $59.49 (was $70). Monster Hunter Wilds dropped to $32.89 from $70, which is a solid cut for a game that's only been out a few months. Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is $36.49 (was $50), and Borderlands 4 is $36.39 down from $70.
For open-world RPG fans, Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is down to $28.19 from $60, which is the best deal for that game since launch. Bungie's extraction shooter Marathon is $34.39 (was $40), and the indie slice-of-life game Mixtape is $18 (was $20).
Preorders included at a discount
What most players miss about this sale is the preorder angle. 007 First Light from IO Interactive, which fuses Hitman-style stealth with Bond action set pieces, releases May 27 and is currently $60.89 (was $70). LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight releases May 22 at $61.59 (was $70). Further out, The Blood of Dawnwalker from former Witcher developers launches September 3 and is already listed at $59.49 (was $70).
Preorder discounts on games that are still months away from launch are not something you see often, so locking in a lower price now makes sense if any of those titles are already on your radar.
The retro and classic picks worth grabbing
Beyond the new stuff, Bethesda's back catalog is well represented. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Anniversary Edition is $14.24 (was $50). Fallout 3 Game of the Year Edition is down to $5.69 from $20. The Starfield Premium Edition, which includes all updates and the available expansion content, is $61.50 (was $70), with a standalone upgrade option for existing owners at $21.77 (was $25).
Here's the thing about the retro picks: some of the discounts are steep enough to justify a first playthrough even if you've owned the game on console for years. Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is $45 (was $60). Resident Evil HD Remaster is $4.19 from $20. Sifu is $9.19 from $40. Neon White is $8.24 from $25. Outer Wilds is $12 from $25. Those last three are the kind of games that sit on wishlists for years and finally become easy purchases at those prices.
The Ace Attorney Anthology is down to $22.79 from $60, and Marvel's Midnight Suns Legendary Edition is $17.49 from $100, which is a significant drop for the complete package.
