Epic Games has added another free cosmetic to the pile. The KATS Turntable Back Bling landed in Fortnite on July 24, 2026, as part of the ongoing Cuddles and Chaos collaboration with streamer Maya Higa. The catch? You only have until July 26 at 11:59 PM ET to grab it.
What the KATS Turntable actually is
The KATS Turntable is a back bling tied to the Cuddles and Chaos event, which has already been rolling out free cosmetics for players willing to put in a little time. This one specifically arrives through Twitch Drops, meaning no V-Bucks required and no Battle Pass needed. You just need to watch.
The cosmetic went live following the July 23 hotfix, and the drop window is tight. Three days total, with the deadline sitting at the end of July 26.
The 30-minute watch requirement explained
To unlock the KATS Turntable Back Bling, your Epic Games account needs to be connected to Twitch. From there, the process is straightforward: watch any eligible Fortnite stream for 30 continuous minutes and the drop triggers automatically.
The confirmed participating channels include Maya (Maya Higa's official channel), CarynandConnie, BoxyFresh, Ronnie, and Eeowna. Maya Higa's streams began July 24, so those are live now. Beyond those five, any Fortnite streamer with Drops Enabled qualifies, which gives you plenty of flexibility if you already have a go-to channel.
Once the 30 minutes are up, Twitch sends a notification and the back bling sits in your Drops and Rewards section waiting to be claimed. After you manually claim it there, it shows up in your in-game Locker.
Linking your accounts before you start
The one step players sometimes skip is the account link itself. Head to the Epic Games website, open account settings, and look for the Linked Accounts section. Find Twitch in the list and hit Connect, then follow the authorization prompts. This only needs to be done once, and if you've claimed a Twitch Drop before, you're already set.
The key here is making sure the connection is active before you start watching. Watch time logged before the accounts are linked doesn't count retroactively.
Cuddles and Chaos keeps delivering free cosmetics
The KATS Turntable isn't the only freebie tied to this event.
