Q2 2024: Cloud Gaming
In the second quarter of 2024, we are rolling out our cloud gaming beta feature in partnership with Aethir. Following the success of our Play Now feature, allowing anyone to play web3 browser games directly on our platform which has amassed over 10,000 hours of playing time, we now take the dive into cloud gaming to help provide easier access to the top web3 games to gamers worldwide. This collaboration aims to provide seamless, high-performance gaming accessible from anywhere, directly playable through games.gg, while utilizing Aethir’s infrastructure to support large-scale cloud gaming with minimal latency and high reliability.
We will announce our launch partners over the next few weeks as we showcase the platform's capabilities. This expansion is expected to bring new opportunities for gamers to enjoy their favorite titles without needing high-end hardware, by playing their favorite games directly on our platform on any device, which will help accelerate the adoption of web3 gaming in line with our goals.
Throughout the cloud gaming beta testing phase, the service will be free for all our platform users. However, moving forward, as we scale and expand the feature and library of games supported, the feature is expected to move into a $G3 gated environment.
Q2-Q3 2024: Vault
Introducing: the Vault, access private sales and support your favorite games early directly on games.gg. This platform feature will allow certain users to gain access to the Vault and participate in web3 gaming token private sales, offering a unique opportunity to get more involved in the web3 gaming ecosystem and support the games and studios that are building the titles that excite you the most as a gamer.
To become eligible for our upcoming Vault feature and subsequent launches, users will need to stake at least 10,000 $G3 tokens to access this section of the platform.
Gaining access to a specific launch will depend on two additional factors: your GAM3R Score (a reputation system that assigns specific scores to each user based on past gaming experience, present platform activity, and on-chain gaming footprint) and our GAM3R NFTs (set to receive a guaranteed allocation per NFT across each sale).
More information regarding the GAM3R Score will be shared soon, but these three factors work together to improve and expand on the traditional launchpad model to level the playing field and allow avid gamers and early project supporters the opportunity to support their favorite web3 gaming projects at earlier stages.

Q3 2024: Battle Pass
A concept quite familiar to gamers, the Battle Pass system introduces free and premium (to be acquired using $G3) tiers with rewards and levels that can be unlocked by earning XP through various platform activities. This gamification element adds a new layer of engagement to your journey on games.gg, allows you to accumulate XP and rewards, and advance through the ranks across multiple seasons moving forward.
Users can expect a range of platform and partner rewards, including game NFTs, mystery boxes, soulbound rewards, XP boosts, achievements and unique profile cosmetics. Both free and premium tiers grant access to various rewards, with the premium version providing relatively more rewards. In addition to grinding out XP on the platform to unlock the full battle pass and claim all the rewards, users may also buy levels using $G3 to speed up completion and claim their rewards instantly. More information on launch dates, platform XP reset dates and partners will be shared moving forward prior to launch.
Q4 2024: Gaming Passport
The next phase of our platform takes us into the next gear with the highly anticipated digital identity integration on games.gg. Each individual platform user will have the ability to own their identity through our gaming passport system which will provide a seamless, secure, and user-friendly way to manage your gaming credentials, flex your accolades and truly own your gaming progress.
The Gaming Passport or G3 ID will simplify the process of accessing and interacting with various web3 games, capitalizing on your past gaming data, including playing hours and achievements, and serving as a unified login system, tracking in-game progress on-chain in real-time, validating gaming scores, and allowing game studios to identify high-quality players quickly.
We have been studying and segmenting our users based on their on-chain and off-chain interactions, including behaviors on platforms like Steam, Epic Games, and Battlenet. This analysis, combined with user on-chain footprint, overall platform XP, and social scores from Discord and X, allows us to create a comprehensive identity for each user that becomes equally valuable to the gamer and the games in question.
Imagine validating your skills in a game like Shrapnel through your G3 ID, earning a spot in early playtests thanks to your hours playing Counter-Strike, and claiming unique rewards directly for being an early supporter and valuable community member. This identity layer will open up a lot of doors and possibilities across the entire web3 gaming space.
