Our highly anticipated GAM3 Awards, a pivotal event within the realm of web3 gaming, is poised for its grand comeback this December 2023. The event's distinguished panel of judges, featuring a mix of familiar personalities from 2022 and fresh faces representing diverse facets of web3 gaming, has just been introduced. Among the noteworthy newcomers are individuals hailing from web3 gaming venture capital firms, experts in blockchain and ecosystem development, trusted infrastructure partners, and creative content creators. These esteemed additions join the ranks of established gaming luminaries and tech titans such as Amazon and Google.
We are proud to introduce one of our jury members Stache, also known by many as @CryptoStache "The OG 🏆 of Web3 Gaming". @CryptoStache is the social media handle of the popular web3 influencer Shea Newkirk. He is an early adopter and a passionate advocate of blockchain technology, decentralized finance (DeFi), non-fungible tokens (NFTs), and cryptocurrency.
1. What is the most enjoyable part of your role?
“I love spending time with my community and just talking about nerdy gaming & crypto stuff.”
2. How do you see the progress made in web3 gaming since last year?
“We have seen significant progress and there are a ton of good games coming out of development into early access. Saying there are no good games in web3 anymore just isn't true!”
3. What is the most valuable addition web3 brings into gaming, from your perspective, if any?
“I honestly think it will be true decentralized digital identity. This is the keystone for unlocking everything.”
4. What is your outlook on 2024 and beyond for web3 gaming?
“I think web3 tech continues to push the boundaries of what can be done in a game environment. It is still a niche for now, but that niche is growing rapidly as more and more amazing tools are being built and people are understanding how much easier & transparent some gaming aspects can be."
