What the Wasted screen actually looks like
The clip that has everyone talking is titled "Gas." In it, protagonist Jason watches an NPC fuel up a pickup truck at a gas station, then steals the vehicle, runs the NPC over, and ultimately crashes into another car and gets blown up. The moment the explosion hits, a red screen flashes with the word "Wasted" centered on screen, accompanied by a new sound effect.
That is the first confirmed look at the Wasted screen in any GTA 6 footage, leaked or official. The visual language is instantly familiar to anyone who has played the series, but the updated audio cue signals Rockstar has given the moment a fresh coat of polish.
Gas stations are more functional than anyone expected
Beyond the Wasted reveal, the gas station clips packed in a surprising amount of mechanical detail. Jason pulls up to a pump in a hypercar and interacts with a "Services" menu that presents two options: Refuel and Repair.
Here's the thing: neither of those options has ever existed in a mainline GTA game before. Fuel management and on-the-spot vehicle repairs at gas stations represent a meaningful shift toward simulation depth, the kind of thing you would expect from a Red Dead Redemption 2-style approach to world interaction rather than a traditional GTA arcade loop.
The clip also shows Jason walking into the gas station convenience store, hopping behind the counter, and looting the cash register by picking up individual stacks of bills. He then drives off with a 1-star wanted level, repeats a similar robbery at a second gas station, and the sequence bleeds directly into the strip club footage.
Strip club, binoculars, and a message from Lucia
The third clip picks up inside a strip club, which Rockstar had already teased in earlier official trailers. The leaked footage shows Jason moving through the venue, interacting with a set of binoculars to observe a pole dancer, and then finishing with a cutscene at a urinal. A prompt reading "Return to Lucia" with a heart icon appears on the right side of the screen, suggesting the game tracks relationship momentum between its two protagonists in real time.

Pre-order numbers have reportedly reached 4.38 million copies globally, and Take-Two's market value took a notable hit in the days surrounding the leak activity.
